My inner fanboy was basically screaming at this.
Came across this in blacktwitter sub, and yea honestly someone famous saying "there's this anime called Bleach" just awakened and charged my inner screaming bleach fanboy.

Sorry too busy trying not to drop the soap and avoiding a cannibal, to explain further.

I'm not sure what the majority consensus is on what type of person Pete is, and his morality. But I never really liked him much. Whether it's from the way he treated Peggy and Lane, the way he tried to sabotage Don after finding out about his past, or just my indifference to people born to riches and power lol.

But after rewatching earlier episodes, especially S1 E4, he really just seemed to be someone that's somewhat impaired by his own easy upbringing and blueblooded
-ness.

Comparing him to 'The Man'. I really think Don is just gifted with the genius ability to see innovative solutions, the true big selling picture, etc. Almost as much as Pete is gifted with his lineage/connections. The significant difference is Don had an upbringing and life that forced him to develop things Pete doesn't have much of - Mannerism, 'Common Man' perspective, Cojones, and yea Self-validation.

Put it simply and cliche-ly, I think he really is just someone that don't know how to be a good person but really trying to. From the ways he tried to consistently concile with and befriend Don, his overprotectiveness of his mother, to eventually trying to work things out with his wife.
Edit:
How goes it. I'm taking a flixbus soon for the first time, and want to know if I can actually bring an extra carry on without running into any potential issues.

I already have a suitcase and backpack I'm be bringing, both meet the dimension requirements. But I have an extra overnight bag that I want to bring and put in the overhead storage. It's about 16 x 12 x 8.

NYC -> DE on a weekday if that's relevant.

Very much appreciate any feedback soon.
To ramble abit about myself. I came to the states during my teenage years and enrolled at a highschool to basically finish my last year. It was a low income, high minority school. And I was an introverted
"quiet" kid who was too occupied with preparing for college, and taking like 5 regents exams within a semester to graduate in time lol.

So I didn't really pay much attention then to the environment unfortunately, though I was still aware of it. But watching this show recently, and looking back at both the staff and students from my highschool, it's crazy how well this show both potrays the reality of the struggles of public schools, and also the realistically hopeful way of being able to make things better.

Sure, the show's humor is just pure genius writing and personal what got me onto it first. But it's the light that the show beams that really gets me. From the way the students actually put in effort towards bettering theirselves, when they may not have much domestic support and/or even have other challenges, to how the teachers graciously and relentlessly keep helping the kids ascend and thrive just anyway they can. Honestly just truly fucking epically hopeful show 💙✊🔥

Well Amazon has been my source of survival for the past 4 years or so. But ... we are done for now at least, if not forever. Gonna finally try to use some of my sales and tech experience to see if I can make some change in the online sales world. It's been real, fun, and .... interesting.
As usual, my advise is : do what you need to do at the planta- at the workplace, and get out as soon as you actually can. That and a union might just be a lesser evil, but probably a much much lesser one, if not a necessary ally soon.
Best of luck comrades ✌
Deciding on which streaming subscription to throw money at this week, to escape to some good fantasy for a while.
So any new/trending fantasy shows you're really enjoying enough to recommend? Much appreciated in advance.
So far looking at Apple TV's Legacy of monsters.
