Constantly feeling like a loser, how can i get over it?

everyone i know around me, like extended family, old classmates, etc. are doing amazing things with their lives, traveling the world, have everything figured out, having huge friend groups, partying, going to concerts, have their own apartments etc.

meanwhile im still here, completely stagnant, no driver’s license, still living with my parents, can’t get a job for the life of me, super introverted, socially awkward, i have no friends, and it feels like i have nothing great to show for myself

i know that social media isn’t real life and that it’s just someone’s highlight reels and that i’m still very young (19), but whenever i see or even hear of someone doing something extraordinary, it just feels like a punch in the face and that my whole day is ruined because of it, i just can’t seem to push this feeling away no matter how much i try to

what were your experiences getting your wisdom teeth out?

wanted to ask this since I got referred to a local oral surgeon to get evaluated on getting all 4 of my wisdom teeth out and have been postponing for the past few months since i’m really nervous over the whole thing, like the process, the pain and the weird high you get from the anesthesia that makes you act funny

is it actually all that bad?

getting over the feeling of being behind when everyone else around you are racing towards the top

i’m 19 and it feels like everyone my age i see are all doing the most, they’re all traveling to different places around the world every few months or weeks, going out every night, going to concerts, festivals, parties, have their own apartments, having these huge friend groups

meanwhile im just here, completely stagnant, no drivers license, can’t get a job for the life of me, im a huge homebody/introvert, the only people i hang out with are either my parents or older brother, and it feels like im wasting my late teens and if im still like this by the time im in my 20s, what the hell am i gonna do from there?

i know that social media isn’t reality and that it just shows highlights of people’s lives, but every time i see someone my age online doing something overly extravagant, it feels like im getting punched in the face and that my whole day is ruined, wondering what am i doing wrong with my own life
