My art vs reference can someone explain what I’m doing wrong (shading/brushes)

First photo is mine. The other two are references

Hi! I’m trying to learn this art style (reference included), but I feel like my version looks off and I can’t figure out why.
I’m using Procreate and I think I might be struggling with

what brushes to use
how to shade/render properly
making it look less flat?

feel like my lines are okay, but everything ends up looking kind of stiff or flat compared to the reference. I’m not sure if it’s a shading issue, color problem, or just my technique overall.
If anyone can point out specifically what I’m doing wrong or what I should focus on improving, I’d really appreciate it
Even small tips or brush suggestions would help a lot!

Ready for the day to be over

I placed my first cgm on my stomach silly of me so I had to change it out after couple days. Then placed my second one on my arm and I turned the corner wronged and snagged it causing it to snatch out of my arm. Today is rough 😭

Taking showers is great it’s just the sitting for while on the side of the tub to recharge yourself which prolongs the getting lotion on and dressed. Everyone who took shower and it felt like climbing mountain or just not so great day proud of you!

Every time I go into the community asking for advice, not a diagnosis, I get told, “You should see a doctor instead of asking strangers to diagnose you.” I understand that, but I’m not looking for a diagnosis from anyone here. I’m looking for advice or shared experiences from people who might be going through something similar.

It can be frustrating when it feels like the question isn’t being read fully. I’m not trying to replace medical care; I’m just trying to understand my experience better and hear from others who relate. I also want to add that I’ve already seen multiple specialists and have a primary care doctor. I’m not trying to avoid medical care I’m actively in it. I’m just looking for advice and shared experiences from people who may have gone through something similar.

I’m not trying to get a diagnosis here just looking for advice or if anyone’s had a similar experience.

For a long time, I’ve been waking up with my shirt drenched in sweat, and I feel like I need a sip of something sweet right away.

The confusing part is that my A1C always comes back normal or just slightly high, but never anything doctors seem concerned about.

I’m wondering if this could still be blood sugar-related, and if it’s worth getting a continuous glucose monitor, or if I should just start with a regular finger-stick meter first.

Has anyone dealt with something similar?
