My “lock” button for the rear liftgate got pushed into the door itself. Don’t exactly know how this happened, as I didn’t push it nearly as hard as one would think could cause this. Anyone know how to fix this/take of the trim pieces to access the panel from the inside? Thank you
Between a lot of car camping alone and many miles on the road, I’m looking to install a retainment device for “personal protective equipment” on this panel. It is just to the right of where the driver’s knee would be, below the gear shift. Where the mold looks “cut out.”
It would likely be a couple of holes drilled and then some screws to keep the retainment device in place. Does anyone have experience doing this? Anything I should worry about behind this plastic panel? Any alternatives to consider? Thanks in advance

Bushmaster XM15-E2S, came as a package deal with a pistol (pictured last) from my uncle. I’ve shot it before with him, but even more excited to shoot it now that it’s mine.
I don’t know anything about modifying components, but I would love to have a free floating barrel and a handguard that extends closer to the muzzle. How would I go about removing/changing the front sight gas block ordeal? Any recommendations on parts are welcome (low profile gas blocks, hand guards, MLOK, quad rail?)
