Milwaukee tool set, $250

Milwaukee tool set, $250

Selling because I'm switching to DeWalt. I have an M18 impact, M18 driver drill, M12 circular saw with blade, 2 1.5ah M18 batteries, 1 M12 6ah battery, charger, and carry bag. All work as intended. Circular saw is missing the guard lift, but I still have it and it could be repaired with superglue or JB weld. Would consider trades on DeWalt 20v tools - no impacts, driver/hammer drills, SDS hammer drills, or sawzalls, as I already have them. Public meetup at Leestown Road Kroger. Also posted to marketplace. Have videos of them all working, DM me to see.

I done it!!

Did my first on-body injector for skyrizi. I was suuuuper nervous but the manual and the tutorials I got at the infusion site during my loading doses made it all pretty straightforward. I did everything right, and the lights and beeps all did what they were supposed to! Y'all, I'm so proud of myself.

Considering a power station

Hey y'all. So, I'm looking at a power station to supplement a 5kw generator. Plan would be, in an outage, to run less sensitive electronics (fridge and space heater or fan, depending on season,) off the generator, and have the power station for entertainment and device charging (TV, DVD player, laptops and phones.)

What power station could do this? What brands do you trust? And what's the best way to find deals on them?

Mechen M30 help plz

Hey y'all.

So I got a Mechen M30 and honestly, I'm pretty disappointed.

I just updated the firmware but it didn't solve the problem.

The problem is: songs play out of order when I drop the files onto the SD card. And these aren't bootlegs, these are mostly bought from bandcamp. CD rips seem to do better.

Can anyone help me solve this problem other than like, going into each file folder on the SD card and just renaming each track 01-12/20/whatever?

Thanks in advance!

Mechen M30 help!

Omg please help.

Just got a Mechen M30. Trying to add music but my laptop isn't seeing the device. It's a Windows 11 machine.

First thing I did, perhaps this was my mistake, was putting the micro SD in an adapter and inserting it into the slot on the computer. It froze.

Now, as per the manual, I've connected the Mechen M30 to the computer via USB, but the machine is still not finding it as an external drive. I just wanted an option to use my aux in my truck so I don't have to switch out my entire head unit. I was so excited and now I'm so frustrated. Where did I mess up and how do I fix it? Is it drivers or...? PLEASE redditors, help!

WRFL appreciation post

Listening to Psychedelicatessen and having a fire right now, which is a regular Saturday night for me and wifey. Always 🔥

Mandrake Handshake was a neat find through them, and the really fun part is finding stuff you love, then finding those bands on Bandcamp and being able to support them directly.

Also just wanna shout out Neverland Ballroom and The Unhinged Reality Show. Such gems 💎

And always such fun to call and talk to the DJs!

What do y'all love about WRFL? My personal favorite memory was calling and requesting any song by the Presidents of The United States, and when the DJ announced it, he said "Joe Biden himself called and requested this" 🤣

FNG here

Hey all. So, I'm totally green in the field, coming from a labor and carpentry background. I asked in construction but got no real advice.

Can anyone point me to some good resources for learning some basics of wiring, as well as recommended certs for working with cameras, controllers for door locks, etc? I want to excel in this, as I think this move I made has much more earning potential and upward mobility in the field, besides just being a little less physically demanding and limiting my exposure to silica and the like.

Need some certification recs

Hey y'all.

So I just jumped ship as a laborer/carpenter with a GC, to a sub that specializes in access control and doors/door hardware. I'm faily familiar with doors and door hardware already; now I'm learning the low voltage side, which may have opportunities for some of the programming and networking aspects.

I'm looking for recommendations and resources that will be useful and beneficial to that side of the game. Preferably low or no cost, or ones that I might be able to get my employer to pay for if I perform well in them. Thanks in advance 🤘

Current collection and "collecting" vs listening

So, idk. Just kinda wanna hop in this little bit of discourse. I "collect," I guess? I aspired to be a DJ about a decade ago. I've just always loved records, grew up around a good collection and my dad has/had excellent equipment. I believe in supporting art, and buy to listen. I think I'm up around 500 or so, gonna thin the herd a little soon and try to get rid of scratch records and the like. No clue what kinda turntable I got, bought it off marketplace cuz my old one took a dump and this one looks nice on top of this cabinet.

Currently spinning: Vertigo by Wand.

Just hope the lovers love and the haters hate ✌️

Maybe my nicest haul yet

Starting a new job next week and probably won't get a chance to snag as much good stuff, so made a run this morning. Pretty happy about it.

Best way to break down brass plumbing valves?

Hey all. So I've got a few plumbing valves with the ball stop in the middle, which I believe is stainless steel and has the rubber or plastic gaskets.

What's the best way to break these down so I can separate the brass, without sketchy shit like holding my fingers next to the bandsaw blade? Sledgehammer?

Hey all. I took a new job, and of course was provided PPE, but...it's the Klein type 2 hardhat. The one that looks like it should come with a box of crayons. Currently I've been wearing the Studson full brim, which is hot but at least looks like a hardhat should.

Part of my benefits package is an accumulating tool fund, so I'll probably deal with it for a while. I'm needing recommendations for a full brim, with chin strap, that is relatively comfortable in the summer.
