2004 Hiace AWD Camper: price check?

Seeking opinions on a 2004 Grand Hiace AWD Camper that I'm considering. Before I ask a mechanic in the seller's city to check it for common issues, I'd like to get a sense of whether it's way overpriced, or a decent machine. The seller says it's recently imported from Japan, but the mileage seems high for that.

I live in a remote part of Canada, so I'd need to fly to this city and drive it back home (2-3 days). It's a challenge to buy vehicles from afar and I appreciate your insights before I get too far into this.

Asking: $22,500 cdn / $15,800 usd
250,000 km
3.4L V6 engine, automatic transmission
Timing belt replaced approximately 8,000 km ago.
Full-time 4WD
Gasoline Webasto heater
Two solar panels
Two auxiliary batteries
Sink with wash basin
Front seats rotate 180°
Side-mounted retractable awning
Interior standing height 6 ft
Rear seating folds into a bed 9 ft long (< ?!)
Plenty of storage and camping features
Recent maintenance: New tires. new brakes

Use: back / front country camping, some long road trips (x-canada), not full time living. Wasn't thinking it would be my daily driver, but since it's AWD it could be.

Have owned a 92 Eurovan Westie and loved the compactness and height. Currently have a Chevy G10 shorty and am having a hard time adjusting to the lower height and to manual steering and manual brakes.

Thanks everyone!

08 w/ 61k km value?

Hi folks. I’m starting my search for a used Sienna and just found a 2008 LE AWD, one owner Sienna that I’d consider traveling to get. It only has 60,498 km and has a Bruno mobility lift, which I’d need to remove.

They’re asking $19k cdn / $14k usd. Is that price bananas?

I’m looking for something I can camperize but also use as my daily.

Please be kind. I’m just learning the inflated ways of the Toyota Sienna.

Ok bye!

Doomed to only carry a down duvet on this rack?

1986 Chevy G10 SWB Van: tongue weight 400 lb

Yakima Backswing (swings to side): max carry is 250 lb, and weighs 36 lb

Cargo rack: 48 lb. It folds up and I just got the shank shortened so it doesn’t stick out so far but clears propane when folded. Still sticks out plenty far, I know!

I was watching a Curt trailers vid where they gave math regarding max carry on a configuration like this.

From their math, it seems like I can only put 50 more lb on this rack. I’m hoping that if I ratchet to the bumper on either side, that’ll help.

Looking for experienced opinions. Taking this out on a road trip in a few days. Thanks!
