As the title says, looking for a word to describe someone who is simple-minded, naïve, maybe a little sheltered, and unaware of things, but not necessarily in a stupid or unintelligent way. I’m thinking along the lines of words like “dunce,” “dolt,” or “putz” but those all have implications of being unintelligent. I’m looking more for the oblivious aspect, not stupidity.

Just finished the audiobook, and though I was aware of much of her experiences and events already, hearing everything all at once, I am just sick. To know everything he put her through and did to her and then now see him back in her life acting all chummy together, it’s nauseating. Does she have no self-respect? It was really sad to hear her so apologetic and forgiving of him after everything that to most others would be unforgivable. I just don’t understand. Literally feel sick.

Hi, haven’t contributed much to this sub but I do lurk. But I’m starting my morning listening to Voyageur, which is one of my favorites. But I know it’s many fans’ least favorites. And it just made me think: I have loved each and every Enigma album in their own ways. Of course, I have certain favorites and certain ones I hardly listen to (sorry Seven Lives) but I don’t think any of them are bad.

I’ve been into Enigma from the start. Their first album came out when I as 7 and I started listening to them then. I don’t think they can ever disappoint me. Does anyone else feel this way? I’m proud to say Enigma is the music I’ve followed the longest even if they may not be my favorite these days. That spot is reserved for Björk. But Enigma is still a favorite for sure!

I have often wondered something. This can be applied to the general universe, but I know canon and rules, etc have changed throughout, so I’m only going to focus on the first movie and the 2013 remake, for simplicity.

If you took a possessed Cheryl or Mia and strapped them to a bed and tried to give them an Exorcist-style exorcism, do you think it would work? What would happen? Would it be just like what Regan went through, or something different?

Personally, I’d love to see Cheryl or Mia getting exorcised. It would be tons of fun. But the movies make it pretty clear that the only way to rid the demons is dismemberment or fire. So maybe the priests are off the hook?
