39 [F4F] looking for my safe space

I'm soft masc, well educated, settled where I am but ready to move if feasible for both of us.

I am looking for a partner to grow old with. I want someone I can be stupid with. Cuddle, tease, laugh at nonsense, talk about life at 2am and still feel completely safe with.

We can just say what we mean instead of playing guessing games. Where we're a team, even when we're being idiots.

I miss the idea of falling for someone and slowly becoming us. The mushy, annoying, comfortable kind of love.

We travel when we want to.. Maybe we just order food and never leave the couch binging tv all day.

Please find me already😔

Looking for women only (34+) men please don't DM.

What dating apps are you guys using?

I've been on Hinge and OkC

Idk all I see is men who have listed themselves as woman/lesbian or obvious AI pictures.

And most recently 2 women got mad at me/ other blocked me because I didn't say I was Pro something she assumed everyone should be?

I didn't even say I was anti or pro something, I just said I don't have enough understanding of their history to have a strong opinion, I just don't think harming anyone is correct. For example molesting and **pe, how is that a good thing??? But apparently it was some long standing frustration that justified it.

The dating pool is already so small, but that doesn't mean I'll just start saying things I dont believe in.

This guy at work is being petty to establish rank/hierarchy

He got caught in a white lie and I escalated the issue to his senior.

The senior ended up being on my side and told me that we are all equal here and that there's no hierarchy at this place. This guy apologized (completely fake nonsense apology though that basically only used the word apology, everything else still factually incorrect)

Come next week, he's sending vague, non-actionable comments on projects, using petty and condescending language to show rank/establish some sort of power dynamics.

Its getting on my nerves but I'm trying not to reply and address the vague comments with vague answers.

Honestly, how do you deal with such pettiness?

So far I've had phases.. if something feels good or makes me feel a high of some sorts, I will keep doing it until I'm absolutely sick of it.

Sometimes it is science fiction, other times it is romance fiction. At present I have given up on everything normal life besides my job, and I spend every minute besides eating and working on reading/watching romance fiction.

I don't even crave what the characters have. I just crave the feeling that reading or watching it gives me.

Should I try to stop myself forcefully? Or just indulge as much as I want and let it pass like other things have in the past?
