Replacement battery and charging port for iPhone 13 mini

The iPhone 13 mini has been my favorite phone I’ve ever had, along with the 5c of course! Since Apple is not likely to release a small version of their newer lines, I want to replace my battery and fix/clean out my charging port. I can only charge wirelessly, and my battery life just isn’t what it used to be.

Has anyone replaced the battery themselves? If so, how easy is it? Also, has anybody who lost the ability to charge with a cable replaced the port?

Bill Armstrong is the GOAT of GMs the past couple years…

I think Cooley and Leo Carlson are very comparable players, with very high potential. Cooley will cost us 10mil, while Leo will be that infamous 18mil. Meaning we have Guenther and Cooley for a million less than the Ducks have Leo haha. Take into account Gauthier will have to be signed within the next year, and the ridiculous gets even more ridiculous… Guenther and Gauthier both hit 40 goals last season, with Gunner having more assists. People have said Gauthier is looking for 15mil/year contract… so yikes!

I’m sure our guys are thinking they could have gotten bigger contracts, but I like to think they took team friendly deals because they prioritize having a chance to win.

Also… the cost of Bedard and Byram costs more than Cooley, Gunner, and Keller, or Cooley, Sergachev, and either Keller or Gunner…

Are other teams just screwing their cap up, or is BA just a bad ass? The only team that has better contracts for their young stars in the upcoming season is Montreal, but it’s pretty similar to Utah.

Tusks f’n up!

Just learned Think Before You Drink is a cover, and the original is wildly different than The Voidz. Original artist is Michael Cassidy.

Anybody else tripped out about this? On a Voidz subreddit titled Best and Worst Voidz songs, the Voidz version is a lot of people’s worst, but a few best. I happen to like the song, but am trippin after hearing the original.

So I know they are called Rat Terriers, but my lil dude killed a baby bird on a walk today :(

My families Rat Terriers is 8 now, and we’ve had him for 1 year. He’s perfect, but do these doggies ever lose the urge to hunt really small animals. We let him go after a rat that my Mom saw in the backyard, but then a week later he got a two baby birds on back to back days. He still seems like he has a lot of youth in him, which I’m stoked about, but my main concern is him trying to eat something that we don’t see. Would a Rat Terrier try eating a dead rat they find for example? Someone in my Moms neighborhood has been using rat poison to kill vermin, and my worry is our doggie eating something that was killed via poison. We didn’t let him try and eat the baby birds, but I’m guessing he would have tried?

If someone made a Moneyball like movie about an NHL team, then what team or story would you suggest it revolve around?

Miracle is surprisingly similar, just because of the underdog aspect, as well as Herb Brooks ideas being revolutionary, which I would say mimic Hill and Pitts characters ideas - as far as sport movie plots go. But what NHL teams performed far better than expected, mostly due to superb management and coaching style?

I guess what I’m asking is what NHL story or team has something interesting about the talent on the ice, as well the moves that led the team to be formed? Is there anything significant that sticks out when the NHL introduced salary caps? Or conversely, was there a poor team that drastically over performed prior to the introduction of the cap?

My best bud, Joey!

My family adopted this lil guy last summer when my Dad’s cancer diagnosis was discovered to be terminal. My Dad ended up passing away just a few months later, but I’m so incredibly thankful that he and I went to the humane society on a whim one day, which resulted in Joeys adoption. He has been the silver lining in mine and my Mom’s life the past year. He lives at my parent’s house, and I’m so glad he does, just so that my Mom isn’t alone. I go by everyday to say hi and to take this lil dude for a walk, and am lucky enough to dog sit him when my Mom is out of town. We never had large dogs growing up, so we’re used to having dogs around the size of most terriers, but there’s something about Rat Terriers that I’ve fallen in love with.

His only personality flaw is that he’s a jerk to any dog that’s bigger than him, but he’s a sweetheart to any pup smaller than him. He was thought to be 7-8 years old when adopting, but we know his previous humans loved him very much. He’s literally become my best friend. It’s been a few years since our family had a dog, and I have no idea how we went so long without one in the house.

The best part of my day is dropping by my Moms and seeing this lil dude freak out because he knows he’s about to go for a walk. Just a reminder, but doggies are the best.

Looking for a pink Mammoth hat for 5 year old niece… help?

Has anybody seen kids sized Mammoth hats in pink? My nieces birthday is coming up and she only wants a pink one. The only pink ones I’ve seen online are adult sized. Has anybody else had other luck?

Trying to help my Mom get caught up GH

My mom went out of town for a few weeks, and when she got back her TiVo was toast. Sounds like it’s beyond repair. She can’t watch via Hulu because we have the Disney bundle, and GH isn’t available to those who bundled… so annoying.

I’m going to get her set up on Tablo or something next week, but anybody have suggestions for how she can get caught up on episodes that are before what is available on abc.com? Other than buying individual episodes on prime?

SLC Thrift Store Find from 2010 or so…

I swooped this jersey 15+ years ago at Desert Industries, which is a local thrift store chain throughout Utah. When I found it, I was most stoked about it being a Tretiak jersey, but it’s always made me wonder how this came to find itself in a Salt Lake thrift store?

From the “Made in Russia” tag being in English, to the iron on like CCCP patch on the front, it’s always been a weird (but cool) thrift store find.

I know this subreddit usually has some higher quality jersey posts, but has anybody seen a CCCP jersey like this? I know it’s worth next to nothing, but would be interested in knowing if anybody has seen a jersey like this?

Anyway, heard about this subreddit from What Chaos, so I thought I’d maybe get some answers concerning this jersey here.

Much love from SLC! And stay thrifty my friends!

Is USA lining up to play Canada in the first round of WC elimination?

Will 4A (looking like USA) play 1B (Canada) in the first round? If so, what do you think the chances are USA can overcome Canada? Both of these teams fall short of their Olympic roster, but USA falls MUCH shorter.

This has been a lackluster WC for USA, but they managed to squeeze into the elimination rounds. And who do you think has tended the net better? Cooley or Woll?

I got a $250 Best Buy gift card for free, what Bluetooth speaker would you buy with all of it?

I work a lot of events where I’m at a snow cone stand all day with my good buddy. We run the stand, so we get to jam to whatever we want. I’ve been using a DeWalt DCR010, and it rips pretty loud when we want, but it runs off an ac cord or a 20V dewalt battery.

I want to get a speaker with an internal battery that can last 9-12 hours on a charge, while jamming fairly loud. I also want to be somewhat durable and easy to connect to.

What do you suggest?

Or will I see a minimal difference between the DCR010 I’m using now? And should I just save the gift card to go towards a switch 2 and/or games I want over the next couple years?

My neighbor gets around 10 cases of water shipped every couple months… should I leave a note?

Is it petty to leave a note encouraging my neighbor to try a Brita filter? I would say something in person, but I almost never see them. They also get loads of Amazon packages shipped nearly daily. All of this stuff has been sitting out in front of their door for days at this point. What would you do?

White Relic/Irrealis Mood

Just found this album. I love False Priest and Hissing Fauna, and Sunlandic Twins. Been listening to those albums since a bit after they came out. Got the urge to check out recent of Montreal, and I’ve listened to White Relic once, and it slaps so freakin hard. I hope more of their music I haven’t heard has that digital tone and vibe.

But any suggestions if I liked this album? of Montreal or not. Like the part I like about the album is that sound that’s almost Crystal Castles like at times.

I’ve been asked this a few times throughout my life… and well, even if it was just the current discography, then it’d be KGLW.

Diving into albums I never listened to over the past week… and sheeeeesh! They fuckin’ kill it even more than I already thought.

I feel like some of this Google AI overview is conflicting, but I’ll choose to focus and hope that the highlighted lines have some truth to them.

Teams down 3-2 in a series tend to do better if game 6 is played at home, and equally as important, teams that force a game 7 are more likely to win the series.

The Mammoth won two games in a row before in this series! Let’s see them do it again!!

TUSKS UP!!!
