Question about what the Gnostic texts say vs all the videos and articles that claim what they say

I'll try to keep this simple.

I've read and watched a lot of articles and mostly videos on YT (both AI and non-AI) that talk about what Gnosticism is about and what all the texts teach and things. It feels like those sources often clearly and eloquently express a range of Gnostic subjects with a good amount of clarity and cohesion in a way that makes them sound very digestible. However, if I actually sit down and read through the texts (I've only read a handful) such as Gospel of Thomas, Secret Book of John, Reality of the Rulers, etc, the message or ideas in those don't seem nearly as clear/neat/tidy/concise/digestible as how the articles and videos do.

I guess my point is I am wondering if stuff like articles and videos are a bad place to get Gnostic information beyond surface level. And more importantly, how accurate and true are most videos to the actual real teachings of Gnosticism?

I know we should stay away from AI videos for sure, but even with the ones with real human content, it's such an easy and accessible way to get at the "meat and potatoes" of a spiritual/religious viewpoint.

Also, I know at the end of the day, the best approach is to just read the text for yourself.

Thoughts on Chad Ripperger's insights into demons?

First, I know this is a community where this topic would likely be lumped into the pile of religious and new age control system features and whatnot... Second, I know this guy is a Catholic (IMO the worst version of Christianity) but I still wanted to discuss it from the Prison Planet perspective linked from a general-Christian-spiritual-worldview and maybe identify what's goin on with regards to Prison Planet / the Archons / demons / whatever, how it all fits into the big picture and anything else, if that even makes sense.

Maybe a better way to put it is: The demonic activity identified and described by historic and modern Christianity (including the Catholic church) does seem to have some validity or merit to it. Many people have dealt with demons that affect, afflict, possess, torment, etc, people and places. There is no question in my mind that there is a dark force that works in many people's lives. Additionally, the mention of Jesus Christ usually causes them to instantly stop and leave in most cases. What does that mean? Surly it's not as simple as the psychological ploy of "good cop/bad cop" or whatever. But is it as simple as demons are the disembodied spirits of fallen angel-human hybrids that roam the Earth seeking food and shelter within the minds of humans or whatever?

Who is Chad Rpperger:

>Father Chad Ripperger is a traditionalist American Catholic priest, theologian, philosopher, and exorcist serving in the Archdiocese of Denver. He is well-known for founding the Doloran Fathers (Society of the Most Sorrowful Mother) and for his public lectures and media appearances concerning spiritual warfare.

Here's an example of one of his interviews: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MO08lMCSY2o

In addition to many non-Christian videos about NDEs and Prison Planet stuff, I have been watching a number of his interviews where he shares a lot of intriguing insight about the activity of demons. He's even recently written a book (Dominion: The Nature of Diabolic Warfare) which seems to include a lot of granular and specific information about how all that stuff works.... probably very valuable to spiritual Christians trying to know more about this stuff... but still, can it be trusted as truthful?

All that said, in watching his videos, they are very compelling but then usually there's a point in which he says something about "Our Holy Mother" (referring to Mary) which (aside from the obvious religious dogmatic chains) seems to me to be a red flag and "breaks the spell" for me and it's like "omg he's still like idolizing the virgin Mary" or whatever in such a weird religious way.

Also, I know this guy is just one of many people like this, but wearing a different "costume"... so maybe I've already answered my own question. I just wanted to see if I could stir up some thoughtful conversation here though.

Taking in many NDEs lead me to believe we are divine sparks trapped in matter, flesh, and time

I'm in my 40's, minimally spiritual, semi-confounded Christian, still unable to understand what's going on in this reality, up until recently. Then I found out about NDEs, OBEs, astral projection, precognition, past life memories, and how much actual data has been collected on people's experiences. My mind has been utterly blown and the doors are off the hinges. Nobody talked about this stuff growing up and no wonder so many people are naturalistic or atheist or non-spiritual...

Anyway, I was just thinking about how many NDEs and past life memory accounts I've read/watched/listened to over the last two years. And I think I did pretty well at not falling for a lot of the assumptions and traps (new age like stuff for example) as I quickly noticed the duality at play (Heaven and Hell experiences).

I also recognized that there were basically two parts to NDE type experiences:

  • Part 1: Logistical / Mechanical: floating out of body, fading into a 360-degree ball of awareness, heightened awareness/perception/knowledge, seeing a bright light of some kind, floating through a tunnel, life review, meeting God/Jesus/angels/guides/deceased loved ones/etc; then ultimately coerced to return to the body/life on Earth -- This is the part that is consistent across THOUSANDS of NDES

  • Part 2: The content or "vision": this is basically the part where the person gets told a specific message, either personal or for everyone; or a tour of Heaven or Hell, etc -- This is the part that is usually unique, though there are "spheres" of overlapping message types, but still much variation -- IMO this is the Archonic manipulation

Anyway, like I said, I realized the commonalities and discrepancies and thought there must be some clues of truth hidden beneath the surface of all this stuff. These are real experiences people are reporting, but things still don't quite add up. Then I found out about prison planet, the soul trap, memory wipe, forced reincarnation, Gnosticism, the Demiurge, the Archons and the agenda to harvest and recycle sous, etc. It all clicked.

We are pure individual units of infinite consciousness/spirit (words that can't properly contain the right meaning) who have been placed in flesh bodies, and limiting our awareness down to the 5 senses (for most people) and trapped in time and causality - a massive physical/spiritual/mental matrix.

I've realized that the soul and post-death conditions were supposed to be the focus all along in life. This entire reality is a zone of manipulation, distraction, control, misrepresentation, occultation, and so on. Our true self is stateless, faceless, genderless, ageless, unbanked, unhoused, unemployed, nameless, non-human, timeless, numberless, immaterial, and cosmic -- aka sparks of the Divine Source embedded in flesh and time.

Good comment from someone regarding a real entity that came here from beyond the prison to pay off people's debt

I was looking through my archives of saved posts and stuff and came across this comment I saved from /u/MangoSuspicious5641 who I think puts it very well what I suspect to be true regarding Jesus. It at least makes sense to me coming from a Christian background, but I was always confounded about "why" and none of it really made sense until I found out about prison planet, Gnosticism, and the soul trap stuff. I know some people may completely disagree, and I am also aware that it may be completely wrong. Still wanted to share though for discussion's sake.

EIDIT: also wanted to add that this type of concept really resonates with me as I once had a not normal dream where I was told by a blond woman in white that I "Cannot trust in angels and God."

Comment:

>I know there's a real, genuine Entity that came here from beyond the prison labyrinth, that came from the Pleroma and the Monadic spheres. He came here to trade in karma and paid all karma for all time for all hostages here that are from the Monad. But He has returned to the Monadic spheres and is nowhere in the prison complex. I know there are actors in the astral who pretend to be this entity, and 'God', 'angels', 'the devil', etc, though they never seem to actually self identity as Jesus Christ. They let their victim assume their identity and they play along. There are many of them, who are acting major characters/roles in religions created by the Demiurgic system. There are heavens, nirvanas and hells, etc, corresponding to different religions. The archons spawn so many narratives and stories, cosmic movie productions with CGI and actors, all intended to deceive, to run seekers around in circles forever. And yes, it includes the 'aliens', actors who have been given new roles now in new cosmic stories to suit contemporary times and culture. They were playing a different role hundreds/ thousands of years ago.

> Prisoners don't escape via religion. The demiurge created them all to lead seekers right back to himself, under different guises. There's no religion in the Monadic spheres. No 'good' or 'evil'.

>I'm not sure how calling Jesus Christ works here, as He has departed. But He did pay all karma, though the demiurge reneged on the deal the moment His back was turned. It's either tied in to the karmic payment, so they have to let you go if you invoke Him as they have no right to do anything to you, really. Or it's a layered deception to lure you deeper into fruitless religious belief and worship of the astral religious actors. Because the demiurge has been playing a 'Battle of Good vs Evil' game in the prison complex since the beginning, with both teams belonging to him. 'Good' and 'evil' are two sides of the same Demiurgic coin. They want everyone 'fighting' on one side or the other, a distraction so you don't commit your energies to finding out the truth. Committed to his games, many think they already know the truth, and will defend it to the death.

Bill Wiese's "''23 Minutes in Hell" ultimately brought me to Gnosticism

Just wanted to share a personal thing that I've been thinking about... way back in college (2002ish) I got saved and became a Christian. At some point, I was given some video tapes by some weird church guy, and one of those tapes was Bill Wiese's "23 Minutes in Hell" (he has a book and a video and also is on YouTube now). Anyway, God did show up in my life in a real and powerful way, but at the same time, I was equally presented with all kinds of conflicting and troublesome ideas and beliefs from fellow Christians and church. Of course, Hell was one of those things. And Bill Wiese's story (which I now realize was a spontaneous OBE) was something that really gnawed at me for the next 20+ years... like I would always think, "I'm probably going to end up going to Hell for eternity to be ripped apart by demons for eternity" (like Bill describes) because I just couldn't quit sinning and stuff. You know. The usual internal conflicts and cognitive dissonance, etc.

Flash forward to like 2024ish and I finally decide to look into Bill Wiese again. I find out about NDEs and learn that there are many other accounts, both negative and positive. I end up focusing on the Hell NDEs and notice various accounts where "reptilian type demons" are present. I end up finding out about the whole "prison planet" and "soul trap" view of things. Then I learn about past life memories and reincarnation. At this point, I am utterly stunned that I'm in my 40's and just now finding out all the actual data there is on this stuff (of course I have to sift through a lot of BS as well).

Somewhere in there, I also learned about Gnostisicm, the Demiurge, and Gnostic Jesus.

Also the whole thing with the fruit of the garden never ever sat right with me.. God punished all of humanity for all generations because his first humans ate a piece of fruit. Adam and Eve didn’t kill anyone, steal anything, or hurt anyone. They were coerced by another divine being to eat a piece of fruit that was “pleasing to the eyes” according to Genesis 3:6. Why would God make fruit that was bad to eat look so enticing and create/allow a serpent to tempt Adam and Eve to eat it? That really seemed like entrapment to me. I could never let it go.

I guess I will also say, I'm not really sure if I'm a "Gnostic" per se, but the whole thing about Yahweh/Elhoim being the false God/Demiurge and Jesus being from the REAL GOD/Father makes a lot more sense. I also assumed for a while that the real Jesus's death on the cross was like a legal purchase and transfer of humanity's soul contract so that anyone could simply escape this world/reality, during or after death, simply by claiming the work of Christ on the cross for themselves, regardless of if they do work or not... I suppose that's not a Gnostic view, or maybe it is? idk I'm still learning.

Anyway, yeah, I can't stand the constant focus of Hell anymore. I don't want to keep feeding that side of things with my anxiety and fear. Gnosticism makes a lot more sense.

Edit: sorry this is all kind of disjointed, I've been feeling off lately and can't compose my thoughts very well

What are the dark entities people experience while out of body?

Just curious on what everyone's thoughts are (both here and other places) on the explanation for the dark, non-human entities flying around in the astral who are up to no good. What are they? Why do they seek to hurt people?

FYI I this post prompted me to ask.
