I brought over my salary direct deposit to WS - primarily because I can get access to my funds a day earlier.
I immediately tried transferring the funds to another account to pay my mortgage and the account got flagged as:
You can’t move money out at the moment.
We’ve placed restrictions on your account to protect you.
Please provide additional information to help investigate and remove the restrictions.
I gave them all the documents they requested - and even got an acknowledgment for the same. I had to borrow money for my mortgage payment. It’s been 4 days and still no update.
Calling up the helpline also doesn’t help. I had a my life’s savings in this financial institution (they aren’t a bank - I was told by the customer support team today). I moved it for the monthly millionaire contest.
I regret the same now. But at the same time I need access to my funds.
There is no one in person I can speak with. The customer support team are very close to a bot - standard answers and no time lines given - no SLA.
They are ok for me to reach out to any additional channel for support - official complaint, ombudsman.
No in person - no urgency at their end. I feel stuck.
Anyone faced this before? We are all stressed at home.
2215EST - 4 days: still no update. Zilch. That’s absolutely not fair. No communications whatsoever.
