I have been using TickTick for the past few months and so far it feels like a very decent to-do app. However, I want to ask two completely unrelated questions:

1. What caught my attention are YouTube tutorials. Why there are so many official TickTick tutorials and so little “human” reviews?

2. How do you manage events? Is it possible to fully manage calendar (events+tasks) in TickTick?

Hi guys. I recently finished my Master degree in "Forensics, Criminology, and Law", my Bachelor degree is also related to law. I completed them both in the Netherlands, however right now I struggle to find any jobs in the law field where Dutch is not required.

Any tips?

I have around 2000 photos and videos that I want to transfer from macbook to iphone. I assume that AirDrop is not the most feasible option because of the amount of files. I also know a method with iCloud but I don't want to pay for it. I tried transferring them with Finder (via cable), but in that case I am not able to delete these synced media on my iphone (if I would want to).

Is there any option to simply transfer them into iPhone storage?

Has anyone successfully requested a third exam sit from the Board of Examiners while their master's thesis was still in progress? My supervisor cannot give a positive preliminary assessment yet, and I'm wondering whether the Board tends to be flexible in this situation or whether a negative or neutral supervisor statement is essentially a dealbreaker.

Also, if the request is refused and you need to retake one exam in the next academic year, do you have to pay the full tuition fee for re-enrollment (which is around 2500 euro)?

I like notebook nav. plugin but I got very attached to the default obsidian file browser view. Is it possible to make a similar view with notebook nav?

1. Is it possible to assign a list (e.g. Personal) to TickTick task in Obsidian notes? So far I tried to follow documentation but #PersonalProject, #Personal, and other tags just adds new tags in ticktick, which is not my aim.

2. When I delete a task in TickTick app, task in Obsidian note still there, is it possible to fix?

How do you organize your tasks?

I am trying to find the best way to organize my to-do list and currently using Apple Reminders + simple list of checkboxes in my daily notes. I kinda like this plain structure of to-dos in my daily notes since it provides flexibility and speed, however I still want to manage future tasks/projects or set deadlines. Additionally, would be nice to receive notifications from Obsidian (not sure if it is even possible).

Apple Reminders allows me to set deadlines and integration with calendar is great, however I would like to completely migrate to Obsidian.
