weekend trip

I know nothing about Macon/Atlanta but I’m considering an impromptu trip to take my two kids to see the Wiggles tomorrow.
Would you consider this safe enough for a single mom and small children? Tips on flying into ATL and which place would be better to stay? Safest transportation ?

nurses

Anyone familiar with Children’s hiring process in general or NICUs at the other hospitals in this area?

Are these highly sought after areas? Are the new grad residencies hard to land? Or do you find they hire plenty of new grads? Do they mostly hire students who have already been working as techs there? Any tips ?

UAMS

Hi. I posted before about the UAMS employee daycare and after seeing all of the positive reviews, we have our daughter set to start in about a week. It’s a really nice facility, but my husband is having reservations about the location and me picking up on late days (7-7:30pm).

I’m not from here so I’m not sure. Do you guys find this area to be safe? Do you feel safe coming and going at that time?

Also, do you find that working a 7-7 as a nurse, you have time to get off and pick up before they close at 7:30, or should I consider a daycare closer to my house and just pay someone to handle the hours after close?

I’ve searched for a clear answer to this and have not found it. So, hopefully, someone can explain this to me like I’m 2. Does the rep number matter if you’re getting close to failure every time? Does it matter if you’re doing 6-8 reps of a higher weight vs 10-12 of a lower weight? Will your results be the same or does one actually serve a different purpose?

I just want to love my hair again. It’s so frizzy and stringy and just… ugly. What do I do other than shave it all off?

I am a hardcore Sasha stan but recently tried Evolve for open season and love her, too. Unfortunately, I don’t have it in me to do 6 days a week to hit everything twice. Anyone have a split between these two that’s working well for you? 🫶🏼
