Distributor with best support

Hi team!

I'm looking to return to production after quite a break. I got experience working with two small distributors, but it was years ago and doesn't seem to be relevant these days. Responsive and quick support is the deciding factor for me, since pretty much every distributor on the market meets my other criteria in functionality. I'd really appreciate it if you could share your experiences with different distributors, support-wise. Go, no-go, and why. Many thanks!

Pegasus Premium in a washing machine

I've been wearing them everyday for a few months and consider washing them in the machine. Is it a good idea or risky? I've been washing all of my Nike shoes all my life without any issue, but this time I'm not sure

Olfa Japan products.

Hi team,

Around 15 years ago I was in one art thingy and needed a small sharp knife. Randomly bought one pencil-looking Olfa knife (don’t remember the model) which turned out to be one of the best $10 investments in my life. Been using it for all type of tasks as a result, and changed the razor probably 5 times, so still have around 15 left in my mums house.

Now I have a wife who is making stuff from wool, and is struggling with cutting tasks. I came here to learn more about other Olfa products like rotary knifes and scissors but to my surprise found almost nothing. I believe there’s still lots of Olfa users, so would much appreciate your reviews and recommendations.

Thanks!

Georgians returning home since 2022

It’s pretty obvious that a lot of Georgians who had been living in Russia moved back after the full-scale invasion began.

I’m a native Russian speaker living in Tbilisi, and I’ve met so many Georgians in their 20s and 30s who speak flawless Russian - better than many Russians I know. It’s hard to imagine reaching that level just by studying it abroad, so I guess many of them spent a significant part of their lives in Russia before returning.

I’m curious if there are any statistics on how many Georgian citizens have moved back from Russia over the last 4.5 years. Or just what’s your notion of this number subjectively

Film camera repair

Hi! I'm wondering if there are any film camera repair services in Georgia? I'm in Tbilisi, and I could've asked in the u/tbilisi subreddit, but something tells me that such a service might be in Kutaisi or some other city. Would much appreciate any recommendations. Cameras are Pentax and Nikon

To replace XBA-N1

Hi, I recently lost one earphone from my beloved XBA-N1 at a bloody fruit stall (the fruit is great there, though). Looking for a replacement. I haven't really listened to music in them lately, switched to headphones, but occasionally still do. I live in Georgia (the country), and there aren't many of the wired options. And not much of an option to check the product before purchase, either. Any recommendations are welcome. My budget is up to $100 or something. Thanks

PS: saw this thing with Japan Domestic Genuine Product label - https://www.amazon.com/Receiver-MDR-XB75AP-Domestic-genuine-products%E3%80%91/

Is that for Japanese market? Would also appreciate any info about this

My child was born in Georgia. Overstay?

My girl doesn't have documents yet since the queue at the embassy is enormous. She will have her passport most probably by the end of summer, if not later. The law says that a person without citizenship can't stay in Georgia for more than 90 days.

I think that since she is a newborn, and doesn't make decisions herself, and travelled to Georgia in a special way - never really crossed the border herself, that's a different case?

If anyone has expertise in this, I'd appreciate your advice a lot.

In arms 24/7

So 4 days ago my baby 7 weeks started to sleep exclusively in arms. Baby wearing stopped working. First day he slept at night in her bassinet, since then only in arms. Even contact sleeping - if I put her down on bed she wakes up no matter what and when we are doing. Just wondering if anyone had the same issue? She is calm and happy. Writing this with my only feee hand…

7 weeks trenches

So our baby girl turned 7 weeks today and it’s obvious she won’t sleep anywhere except for our hands. It’s possible that she will sleep in her bassinet during the night but the question is… do you just hold your baby in hands all day long during that period? Baby wearing seems to stopped working either…

Daytime naps 6-7 weeks

Hi everyone,

It seems that our baby girl (6 weeks and 5 days) started to refuse her naps in the bassinet during the day. Yesterday was hell on earth with crying and fussing (she is normally very calm), the only way she napped was on hands with a total of just 11/24 hours. However, absolutely hopeless, I rocked her at 10 pm, put her down in the bassinet, and she smashed a 5.5-hour stretch - the longest so far. Is that a common thing during that period? I read a lot of topics about that on Reddit, and it seems that co-sleeping and baby-wearing are the solution. Are they?

Hi team, first-time father here. My daughter was born exactly four weeks ago, and the biggest struggle so far is her sleep. I know about wake windows, which are 60 mins max for this age, and various sleeping cues. But I rock her every day for several hours, and I feel that my multiple lower back hernias are not too long to give me a strong signal to stop doing this. I also feel that she gets overtired easily. And it's impossible to put her to sleep in the morning after 2-4 hour-long night stretches. Could you please give advice on the cues, should I react on the very first, what's the main one, are they different from baby to baby?
