Have I taken the genre name too literally? "Space Numbers Go Up"

I’m making a first-person incremental game where, instead of just clicking UI buttons, you physically walk around a spaceship and interact with its systems: press buttons, pull levers, manage power, upgrade modules, etc.

Because the core gameplay is still fundamentally “make numbers go up,” I ended up naming it Space Numbers Go Up.

I’m curious what incremental players think:

  • Does the name feel fun / self-aware?
  • Or does it sound too generic and forgettable?
  • Would a more serious name make you more interested?

I like that it immediately communicates the genre, but I’m worried it may undersell the immersive part.

I'm insecure about my graphics and would love some feedback :)

Hey guys,

I’ve been working on a game where you run an illegal gnome disposal business in your backyard and build trap/conveyor setups to automate gnome disposal.

I’m still experimenting a lot with the visuals, environment art.

I’m curious what you think about the current visuals. Does the art style feel unique enough and appealing, or should I rethink the vibe entirely?

My biggest concern right now is that the graphics feel decent, but not very distinctive. Feels a bit too generic and similar to other games.

I can’t quite figure out what’s missing or what to change to give it more personality.

If you want please take a look at whole steam page my game GnomeBoozled, what could I improve?

Vibe coded entire think in a month. I feel like cheating.

So this is my first game coded entirely by AI. It is similar scale to my last game which took to reach same development point in 4.5 months(coded manually) and in this game reached same point in 1 month with AI.

The game is made in Unity and I was surprised to see that Codex can perfectly work with it. It also helped me with scriptable objects and making editor scripts which gave me deep control of game systems. Also codex did balance of the game(will still need manual tweaks) but it saved me crazy amount of time.

So all scripts 100% vibecoded by Codex. For steam page I hired capsule artist(I think 700$ well spent)

Check Steam page for more - GnomeBoozled

I'm curious how people feel about this, hope game is still "AI enough" for you guys since 3D art is not AI made. For 3D made around 20% of stuff myself and rest is assets.

Throw gnomes in hole for profit. Gnomes will curse spit in your face, sabotage and will steal your money. Not particularly friendly...

I'm making a game about producing and throwing gnomes in the hole.

When they smell money gnomes become alive and starts causing havock. Gnomes have goals of their own and absolutely do not want to end up in the Hole. They'll curse at you, spit in your face, and scheme behind your back to steal your hard earned money.

Game is wrapped in an incremental progression system, meaning it starts simple but quickly gets out of control, with hundreds—or even thousands—of gnomes right in front of you(still need some optimization to handle thousands)

In game you unlock gnome production machines scattered throughout the neighborhood and use tools, contraptions and automate process to deliver gnomes in the Hole.

For every gnome throwed in the hole - hole spits out coin. Use that gold to unlock upgrades, purchase new tools, and expand your operations into unexplored areas. Deliver multiple gnomes in quick succession to build combo chains—the higher the combo, the bigger the payout.

But don't get too comfortable. Gold doesn't automatically go into your bank account. It lands on the ground, and until you collect it, it isn't yours. Gnomes are more than happy to snatch your coins right in front of your eyes.

I just announced it today.

Wishlist if you like it!
