Bedford PA, decided to explore a dry creek bed I found
I think I will definitely go back, these are all the surface finds I picked up. I normally only find fossils around here lol.
Honse
Some more cards are listed in my bio if ur interested :)
I love finding pieces with the stamps on the bottom
Now that ai is around, my parents use it in leu of learning how to be emotionally intelligent.
That's it , I feel so alone and idk if anyone else is going through this. Talking to my parents on their own was already hard. But now anytime I try to connect with them, they always send me some bullshit back like "I asked chatgpt here's what it said" "chat gpt said this" "have you asked chatgpt?" NO. I JUST WANT TO TALK TO MY FUCKING PARENTS.
*Spelled lieu wrong whoops
Found this while trying out my metal detector. What is it?
Variagrated jewelweed ?
It was with a row of jewelweed, it stuck out to me for the difference in color
I so wish I could find the original artwork
I would love to see what the whole piece is supposed to look like
My very first, trying to practice oil pastel lol
Runts! Conclusion: I def need more practice 😅
Why does this leech look like that
I don't know anything about leeches so excuse my ignorance, but why does it kinda look like it has two heads? Usually they're just tube-like. I found it in a freshwater river SC PA.
Tips to finding old dump sites if your area lacks good historical resources?
Moved to a much more rural area a few years ago and it's way harder to find resources. I've gone to the library here, looked up sandborn maps, and read countless books on the history of this area. All of it is very scarce and not detailed. The sandborn maps of my town are incomplete & not very informative. This town has history though, Ive found plenty fractions of it in my blind searches on foot & in reading. The closest I've gotten so far is happening to stumble upon an old dump site right next to a river while on a walk, I wasn't looking for it lol. What else can I do to help myself find more? Any good tips?
Sorry for the repeats just thought y'all would enjoy this too
Boot creme jar, it has little horses on it but it's hard to take a picture of them 🏇🏼🏇🏼
Good day!
The bottle on the far right still has some metallic ink in it
