I’m looking for advice on which clubs are best/ worst for a solo female (I’ve heard KitKat is the worst and Sisyphos is the best) , input on whether taxis / Ubers are safe or I should be wary, best neighborhoods to stay in to enjoy the nightlife and reduce commuting at night alone as a women etc
Reddit universe please help a girl out. I’ve had my phone stolen out of my purse twice in 3 years, which 1) really sucks 2) has gotten really expensive.
I’m looking for recommendations on a small bag that is hard to open. Maybe something with both a zipper and buttons? Preferably a bag on the smaller side that fits a a phone and a card holder. I don’t need something big that fits a wallet or a make up bag etc.
Obviously a fanny pack across the chest is probably the safest option to not get pickpocketed but it doesn’t really look good with going out outfits and I want something I can dress up or down when traveling.

There has been rampant phone theft at the Hang Uppe for a while now. With cameras everywhere and them having security how is this continuing to happen at this scale without someone on the inside being complicit?
Has anyone had a similar strange experience with their doctor when requesting FMLA for burn out before?
I thought there would be flexibility from the doctor when picking the date when my FMLA starts but I guess not?
I asked for August 22nd because Big Tech HR requires 30 days to process an FMLA claim and I said I want a few weeks once the claim was approved to give my manager time to make changes to team alignment to not leave them in a bad spot.
The doctor was not being flexible. She wants it to start immediately after the 30 day processing period, roughly July 8th and I’m like dude??
The doctor said when people request FMLA they are down bad enough to need it asap and I didn’t want to push it and end up with no paperwork at all. Even if I wanted it asap it literally doesn’t work like that with Big Tech HR period.
Now I’m more stressed by having a leave that doesn’t align with the timeline I planned and considering pulling the paperwork for FMLA altogether instead of taking a leave that will just cause me more stress

- unopened menopur 75 in — 2 vials of sodium 2 vials of menopur unopened expiration date 2027
- gonal f - this has been opened and kept in the fridge. 750 remaining + needles. Needle was removed post injection after each use and disposed of per protocol so medication should not be compromised
- leuprolide - this has been opened and a sterile syringe was used once to extract medication for trigger shot there’s still about 25% of the medication remaining in the vial
- provera 10 mg - 4 pills remaining

How do you manage being put on products you know nothing about and are expected to hit the ground running and solve meaningful product gaps and deliver results? I find myself in meetings where I’m supposed to have an opinion on the product gaps, the risks, and voice solution recommendations … yet I find myself struggling to be comfortable to voice an opinion on something my knowledge of is incredibly surface level. I find myself chatting with AI , reading the PRD and BRDs and talking to necessary users to collect voc to keep my head above water. But this isn’t success it’s just survival
I’ve seen a few people on this sub mention they’re L8s and I’m just kind of curious what a day in the life actually looks like. From the outside it just seems like an insane amount of calls and doc reading. Is the only work you do sitting through MBRs,WBRs, QBRs and other doc reviews and making decisions based on said docs? It might be org dependent but I’m kind of curious about what kind of work happens outside those meetings at a high level
