Applying external insulation, not sure it's done righ

So we're putting EPS boards on wall from outside.

I have no experience with that, but the edges are not looking good.

He said he'll connect a small nail and add a small piece of foam to make the corner flush.

Is it something that can be done easily? Will it work?

How to seal ceiling against water/liquids

I have this small structure which I'm turning into a small kitchen, and the ceiling is made of this old wood.

Since it's going to be a kitchen with vapors and steam and oil and fat and whatnot, I want to seal the wood so to prevent possible mold and damage.

What would be the right solution for it?

Generic names of material is better than brand names since I live in Portugal and american brands are not so relevant for me.

Thank you very much!

can't seem to register to the UGREEN portal, stuck in a loop of account setup/wrong password

UPDATE: Solved. it let me register with a password that was too long, the website allows maximum 16 characters password. somehow I got to know that and changed the password.

trying to register an account here:

https://web.ugnas.com/account/login/#/login

I'm being sent a verification code, and then registered with my email, then added a password.

when coming to login with my email and password, I says incorrect email or password. although I use a password manager so I don't even feed it manually.

then I tired reset password just to make sure I haven't done any mistake, but the process seems to be broken.

anyone experienced this stupidly frustrating experience on their website? I'm lost.

How to propagate this friend

I received this Bolivian Torch (Echinopsis bridgesii), and I'm looking to propagate and multiply it in the best most efficient way.

Would you say cutting it into 2 or 3 pieces and drying, then planting in the soil, would work?

Which soil would be ideal for the task?

I'm happy to get a reference to some recommended guide.

Thank you!

How long does an outdoor Thermo treated wooden sauna last?

I've been in contact with a company I found online (I'm in Europe, in Portugal) that sells Finish Saunas, made out of Nordic coniferous wood, I don't remember exactly which, either spruce or pine.

It's thermo treated, and the guy says it can last around 25 yeas

I wanted to know if it's in fact so, or is it going to crumble after 10 years outside in the rain and sun.

How would you peal/scrape this olive tree bark?

I had some pruning now and few of my olive trees had to be cut down, the wood seems to be still good to work with, was thinking of making a table from it.

Wad trying to decide what would be the best way of removing the bark.

I was thinking about a brass/steel brush, but maybe people here have better ideas I haven't thought about!

What is wrong with my plum and peach trees?

I have lots of fruit trees on my land most of the plums and peaches look sick and have kind of stunted growth, deformed leaves and small fruits.

It's a new land to me, purchased recently.

It's in Portugal.

I'd love to understand what do they suffer from and how to mitigate it.

First 3 Photos are the peaches, the rest are the plums.
