Picked this up on a private sale for $1295. Google tells me it has a good USGI barrel and USGI guts. It’s a 1980 dated national match with a Saco-Lowell barrel, TRW OP rod and H&R trigger assembly. It’s in a GI stock and has the bayonet lug still attached. Google says this would be a good collector’s piece, is that correct?

While doing lawn work I just noticed this on the side of the house. Everything I have googled says horizontal cracks are far more worrisome. I can’t see any damage to the foundation from the inside of the garage. How can I tell if this is just the parge cracking or actually going into the foundation?
With this deformation behind the bolt stop, would you shoot this? It has wolff springs purchased for it.
This is on bottom of barrel underneath the chamber. Not on the usual proof marks locations. The “crown” looks a little different from examples I have seen. Anyone have an idea what these proof marks state? Also the M (or W?) is beside the crown. Not marked below it. So I’m at a loss and looking for any experts. Please and thank you
