Made a post about the Emily bust yesterday, the other 2 came in. Again, zero regrets. Definitely has presence with it being 12” tall (lighting is slightly off due to warm lighting)

Tbh I don’t think the producer of these did it justice with their ad photos, the lighting they used has too much glare. Natural lighting has it but not as much

Jun Planning will always be the clear number 1, but I truly think the busts are slept on. They’re huge 12” and the sculpt is pretty accurate. Easily number 2 for me (color may be off due to warm lighting)

Not to mention the benefit of the sculpture material. Absolutely no worries about materials degrading over time

This might strike a nerve, due to how it is phrased, but it’s genuinely for his own good - how do I get someone who has Asperger’s to finally understand that “no one cares”?

Essentially for as long as I’ve known this particular person, they always seem to have an entitled manner of thinking - they always believe people must respond to his thoughts, and is deeply offended when they don’t, and always resorts to insulting them behind their backs when this happens.

As someone who isn’t confused about social interaction, I can see the manner in which he socialized actually being a burden to others. They clearly don’t want to interact with them (side eyes, no responses, kindly and patiently waiting for this person to stop interacting with them), so it’s actually a breach of personal space as well. This person also tends to give unprompted advice (and to be honest the advice is generally quite bad, but I don’t blame the intent. I don’t think he understands how shallow his knowledge on certain subjects are).

Everyone has tried to be direct with this person and for some reason it genuinely never sticks. I think in his head he thinks that the people trying to give him earnest advice are the odd ones, when we (the ones trying to help) aren’t stunted when it comes to theory of mind, so the observations are very clear

I’ve been playing the game on and off and one thing I’ve noticed is, there is no hesitation to nerf whatsoever. They’ll pretty much do it guiltlessly and on a whim.

The problem with this (and in line with may other “meta type” gacha games), is there should be extreme hesitation when it comes to nerfing. Buffing is another matter. This isn’t league of legends, etc, where there is low monetary investment in characters. Some people out there consciously max prestige their favorite characters. Some people spend a year to finally get that one character. This is REAL investment when it comes to attaining a character in this game, whether time or money. Seeing all this get lost to a sudden nerf hurts the player (the customer).

This hasn’t happened to me directly, but it’s something I’ve observed. It’s just good practice with games like these - nerfs should happen VERY sparingly. Get it right the first time.

Basically watched the corpse bride twice recently:

First time I watched it in my own “default way” - I saw a movie with Victor at the helm. A story about a dude who fell into weird circumstances. Watching it this way basically put Emily as a goofy comedic character

Second time I watched it while consciously trying to see things from Emily’s point of view. Watching it this way made it seem like Emily was a tragic character whose behaviors are rooted in the fact she was a bride to be and desires to have the wish fulfilled

I’m curious if the standard person needs this “conscious switch” or if people generally just fully see the scope of the movie in the first run
