Probably a giant nonsense question about cross compatibility.

Opportunity to buy a copy of Diablo 4 for Xbox one and series x. I have my phone and GeForce now. I don't have an Xbox but I have games through game pass. If I buy the game, will there be like a key for Xbox app/game pass?

Yes, that's my wife. Yes, that's her cat.

That's Angel Coraline, and yes, that's how she shows affection to her human every day. I find it absolutely 100% hilarious. My wife, not so much. No idea why she does this.

Recall Alert. FYI

Cymbalta, AKA duloxitine, has been recalled because of too much of the cancer causing molecule in the 60mg delayed release version.

More details here.

As a side note but the article I read legitimately says "higher-than-acceptable levels of nitrosamines, chemical compounds that may increase the risk of cancer if people are exposed to them above acceptable levels for long periods of time.

Higher than acceptable levels. Which means there's some amount of cancer causing compounds that is considered "acceptable". Seriously?

Am I alone in this?

Does anyone else ever experience what i can only describe as feeling the rotation of the Earth? I'd rather not think that I'm actually feeling the rotation of the entire planet, but I can't really think of many other explanations.

A rather silly comedy of errors

When I bought these pants, I was 300lbs. They're a 3x. Now I'm 241lbs. They don't have any strings to make them tighter and they don't have belt loops. I have to grab them with one hand and try to use my other hand to maneuver my walker around.

I've already ordered smaller clothes, but I just look at these pants and remember every weight loss advertisement that showed someone wearing pants way too big for them to show off how much weight they lost. I don't know why it makes me laugh, but it does and me laughing at things is in pretty short supply.

Should I shave my face finally?

I figured I would show you both of my eyes open. Mishaps as a kid and my left eye is 20/250 and my right eye is 20/450. I wear glasses normally, but still close my right eye because it hurts my head to make sense of anything I'm looking at. Worse now is that I wasn't watching where I sat on the bed and snapped the frame in half, so now I'm barely able to see stuff.

I normally cut my hair very short twice a year, but I only shave my face when it irritates me. It's not quite there yet, but it's not going to be long before I shave. I know it's a mess. I used to have beard oil and a brush but lost them a long time ago.

Just got sent a scam text I've never seen before.

It was from a 5-digit number, but very clearly a scam, or at least not meant for me. It said there's a refund check from my insurance policy for $500 unclaimed and to click the link to request my refund check.

The problems: spoofed shortened link. I haven't had a vehicle since 2021. And USAA, my primary insurance company when I have a car, I was having to pay $42 a month for bare minimums required by the state. That is almost a year of insurance coverage.. and it came to my lifeline phone that I've had for less than 6 months,

Some good news, and some annoying news.

Back during my last psychotic episode, they put me on a higher than recommended level of Seroquel and didn't stop the treatment until I had hit 354lbs. It's been a long long road. Got rid of sodas and other ultra processed junk food, except for when I just need to have it. But I'll get like a 16oz can of soda, or a single candy bar.

Changed my eating habits. Started walking with my walker. Not very far mind you, but still...im trying.

Weighed myself this morning and I was 245.6lbs.

This is the lowest weight I've been at since like 2008.

Still gotta lose another 25lbs to reach my personal goal.

Annoying news, though. I'll not harp on here but just mention that it's my 50th birthday in 8 more days. The real downside of ending all your friendships is that nobody cares about your birthday.

I don't know why but I just want to celebrate for once.

If anyone has some suggestions for something a mobility challenged individual can do in 8 days or less, I'm totally out of ideas myself. I have a loan open on borrow so I can't do that I don't think. There was another subreddit that specifically says in the rules that you can't double dip.

I'm so glad my wife was next to me when unexplained things happen.

I'm schizophrenic. She's got bipolar 1.

We were sitting down on the bed and watching TV.

All of a sudden, there was a massive eruption of sound from the wall that faces out (apartment complex). It sounded like someone had hit the wall with a sledgehammer or something. I grabbed my cane, in case I needed to defend myself.

There were three people outside. They said they didn't hear anything and there wasn't anyone near our door and that I was imagining things.

If my wife hadn't screamed too, when I did, I'd have been freaked.

Not just your fridge mind you, but I'm always curious.

What's your favorite snack?

What do you define as a personal choice for a sandwich?

What would you describe as your guilty pleasure?

I know many of us are on meds that really result in significant weight gain and at least with me, a max dose of Seroquel twice a day shot me beyond 350lbs before they stopped the treatment.

I've since reevaluated my personal opinions on this whole thing, I started doing some light walking. I'm still very limited as to how far I can get, even with my walker. I got rid of anything that is artificial, swapping for more natural products. I doubled my fruit and vegetable intake.

I do have a candy bar every once in a while. And I still drink some soda, but compared to my big giant thermos here full of water that is flavored by a small cartridge, my soda intake has gone down dramatically.

I'm 249 now. It's been a long ass time. No, I don't want to stop at this weight, but when I take you to the background, just listen to me.

I know the game is pretty old, and tons of people have likely noticed but I've only been playing a few months.

I thoroughly enjoy the programming when you are loading the game and your screen is flying past you...if you move your joystick, you can change directions to a certain extent. Totally useless. Nothing gained from actually coming up with the code needed to make that happen.
