Hey guys! I will be moving into the 3rd floor of an apt in September, I’m a life long musician. I’ve played piano and guitar for years

I want to learn how to drum and I’m amusing the idea of buying a e-kit (currently looking at the Alesis nitro max and the Roland td-07mk)

Now the question is how many of you have ACTUALLY gotten noise complaints from neighbors using a e-kit?
I’ve always wanted to learn how to drum and always wanted a kit but my fears of getting noise complaints have always stunted my curiosity.

Hey guys just wanted to ask for some opinions

Im active duty military, but I’ve always wanted to join a band. Due my job Im constantly traveling( 2-3 times a year)

Also moving frequently every 3-4 years potentially.

Given this dilemma it’s hard to put myself out there because inevitably I will leave that state. And I can’t commit to anything that’s really ‘long term’

Do you guys think it’s worth perusing a band even if I’ll only be able to be around for a few years? Or just embrace my lifestyle and continue being a bedroom musician.

If there’s any military out there with this experience I would love to hear how you manage
