Can anyone explain this bill?

This grid was installed in 2024. How am I only getting 8000rs credit for 743 units produced? And why is the fixed charge 5400rs like what's even the point of installing solar

Careless mechanic blew my hybrid Inverter

Just wanted to share a massive cautionary tale for anyone getting their Prius inverter pump replaced, because a simple mistake by a mechanic just cost me an entire inverter.

Last winter, my inverter pump died and I had a local shop swap it out. Everything seemed totally fine through the colder months. But once summer hit, my AC performance turned into absolute hot garbage. It barely blew cold, and I spent the whole summer sweating, trying to figure out the root cause. Coolant levels looked fine, no bubbles, so I just lived with it.

Fast forward to today: My inverter completely blew out.

The car gave me absolutely zero warning. No Red Triangle of Death, no dashboard lights, nothing. It just gave up.

Towed it to a hybrid-specialist shop, and they confirmed the inverter died from catastrophic overheating. At first, they were stumped because the coolant level was perfect and the pump was physically running. But after digging into it, we found the culprit: The mechanic who replaced the pump last winter completely swapped the inlet and outlet hoses.

Because centrifugal pumps are highly directional, the pump was running but it was constantly fighting the fluid loop, forcing the coolant backwards. The flow was heavily restricted, and the inverter spent months baking in its own heat. In my recent post in this subreddit, I asked if inverter performance affects AC and many people said it doesn't. Contrary to popular belief, it does. An overheating inverter will cut down power supply to the electronics, including AC in order to protect itself.

If you’ve recently had your pump done, do yourself a favor and double-check the routing. The center/top port of the pump should feed from the bottom of the reservoir tank, and the side port should push out toward the inverter. Don't trust that a mechanic got it right just because you don't have a Christmas tree on your dashboard!

Baby kitten up for adoption

I rescued a Burmese kitten. Some biker trapped it in an airtight bag and dumped her on the road. I would keep it but my cats at home arent accepting her.

Location: Islamabad

Edit: She has been adopted 🎉

How dangerous is this?

Didn't inspect my gen2 for a while. The inverter coolant has somehow evaporated or leaked. The heat here has been crazy and my AC was giving really shitty performance, could this be the culprit?

Does 5G support depend on phone model or IMEI?

Using a CPID pixel 8. IMEI belongs to a Galaxy A72.

Haven't been able to experience 5g anywhere in Islamabad.
