Maya 2027 Bug - Arnold Renderview White Window Missing Tabs

I have this issue using Maya where I initially open the render window its fine. Once I close and reopen the render window the window goes white and the tabs for File Window View and Render are missing or go off screen. When docked into the UI it also shows it off screen.

It fixes itself after I restart Maya but it would happen again once I close the window.

Is there a way to fix this?

Question about walking etiquette

This is more of an AITA question but its also a rant about walking in the city.

For many major cities there are unwritten etiquettes that make us function living in a dense environment. In Toronto, people walk on the right like the direction of traffic, this is the same etiquette in NYC or any major city in the world. As children it was drilled to us that right is for walking, left for passing, single file line etc.

When in Rome, we do what the Romans do. I will walk accordingly to the etiquette of other places for example, the walking on the left in Japan and the UK. I will accommodate for the elderly, disabled, mobility issues, children etc. I don't see this any different than driving.

What is annoying are oblivious people on the phone, groups of people walking abreast, having conversations in the middle of the sidewalk and those who are intent on sticking to their left into incoming traffic despite seeing people walking in the same direction on the right adjacent to them.

I stopped accommodating and tired of shuffling around. What I do is slow and stop in place until they pass. If they walk into me being stationary, I prepare for a brace. Bumping into me would be their choice and their problem. Most people get the hint and correct themselves or if they choose to, get bumped walking into me.

Yesterday I was in this situation where there was this guy walking on the left. He had the intent of walking straight and expected me to move. I was walking on the right like everyone else around me and was next to the wall. My left/their right was clear. I stopped in place and he opted squeeze in between me and the wall and got a shoulder check from me standing still. He was clearly angry and yelled out "HEY!" but I didn't care and continued walking.

AITAH here?

AITAH for stopping on the sidewalk, allowing another to bump into me.

I live in a major city and like most major cities there's certain etiquette and rules that make us function in a dense environment. One example is sidewalk etiquette and walking on the right side of the street, being considerate for others.

One thing that is annoying are groups of people walking abreast on the sidewalk or people walking on the left while they see people walking in the same direction on their right. What I always have done is stop in place until they pass. If they walk into me, a stationary object I prepare for a brace and bumping into me would be their problem. Most people have walked around or if they choose to, get bumped walking into me. Note that I don't do this for elderly, children and people with disability/mobility issues. I also walk on the left if its the norm in the place I am travelling in, when in Rome we do what the Romans do.

Yesterday I was in this situation where there was this guy walking on the left. He had the intent of walking straight and expected me to move. I was walking on the right like everyone else around me and was next to the wall. My left/their right was clear. AITAH in this situation?

Hello,

I am a Chinese Canadian native English speaker. Currently in grad school. My heritage language is Cantonese and can speak at a conversational level. My Mandarin level is lower but I can speak at a basic-conversational level. I am also a French learner at A2-B1, about to write my A2 exam soon.

Looking for people to practice Cantonese, Mandarin and French!
