Can someone please ELI5 what Coverage A Plus actually means/covers for home owners insurance?

Farmers set a limit for dwelling.

According to my research, it would cost a lot more than what they set it to.

Every time I talk to them I get a difference answer. Some say that Coverage A Plus means they'll cover whatever it costs to rebuild, even if it's more than the limit. Some say it will only cover 125% of what the limit is.

Here are some example numbers to help explain what I see on my coverage:

  • Blanket Property Limit: $1,000,000
  • Dwelling: $400,000
  • Private Structures: $300,000
  • Personal Property: $200,000

I am worried I do not have enough coverage. But Farmers sets the limits themselves and I can't increase it.

Ad Guard Home (Docker) not resoling host names for clients (on Unifi)

I have a UDM. On one of my servers, I am running the Ad Guard Home docker. Everything is working properly. Ad Guard's Query Log shows me client IPs.

I want it to show hostnames.

I have 3 VLANs on my UDM and I created 3 clients with those IP ranges.

I have it configured to rerverse lookup private IPs.

Not sure what is wrong?

I have added screenshots to https://imgur.com/a/coyfZ0M.

Help a newbie out please? How do I figure out which block lists I want?

I have Ad Guard Home running in Docker and I have it configured in my router.

Now I'm looking at the block lists available and I'm not sure which ones to use?

Is there some guide somewhere?

Folks running pi-hole in Docker, do you like it or would you advise against it?

I have a UDM and a single server for all my Docker containers.

It sounds like I can run a pi-hole container on my server and then tell my UDM to use said container for DNS.

It sounds like it would work but I worry. Like what happens if my server is down?

So I thought I'd see what real world experience has been.

How are people securely accessing their self hosted things from the internet?

I have a domain with Cloudflare so I am thinking of using Cloudflare Tunnel but I'm not sure if there are better options? One of my concerns is that some of my containers do not have auth so I need something with built in auth management.

[Landlord US-CT] Easiest/cheapest way to create a lease?

EDIT: I shouldn't have said cheapest. I want the least expensive option. Our local realtors and lawyers will charge us $3k. All the websites like Avail charge monthly fee which makes no sense for a 1 time lease creation.

2 years ago we leased our house through Zillow. Zillow created our lease document for us.

The tenant is staying for another year. So we need a new lease. I tried creating through Zillow but it does not seem to let us duplicate our existing lease. It wants us to upload the lease -- implying we have to create it our self.

We don't need property management or payments or anything. We just need a good lease document, and a way to digitally sign it.

Any advice?

I think iOS 26 has a bug where it does not import the OTPAuth data (OTP token) from a passwords export.

iOS 26 has a bug where it does not import the OTPAuth data (OTP token) from a passwords export.

If you export your passwords (from Settings > Safari > Export) the CSV file will have an OTPAuth field. If you then import that same export file (from Settings > Safari > Import), the OTPAuth data (OTP token) IS NOT imported.

Has anyone else seen/noticed this?

send emails when phone is locked

I have a shortcut I use on my Apple Watch that takes input using voice. I want to send the text to my email. It works if my iPhone is unlocked. It does not work when the phone is locked.

Is there anyway to send emails when the phone is locked?

Options for preventing a small bed with wheels from moving that is easy to engage/disengage

We have an inexpensive trundle bed. The bottom part is detached from the main part and has wheels. It just slides around/in/out.

The inside ends of the bottom part are about 3" inside the main part's legs.

The wheels on the bottom part make the bed slide a lot. We want to make some how prevent it from moving when we don't want it to.

I had two ideas on how to do this but not sure what to get or how best to proceed.

  1. Some kind of latch on the top part legs that connects to the bottom part to hold it in place.
  2. Some kind of thing I can put on the bottom part that I can lower/raise and when it's lowered it pushes against the floor to prevent it from moving.

Thoughts?

The bottom part is not as small as this picture makes it look. It's got about 3-4\" on each side to the legs.

[Landlord US-TX] Has anyone heard of insurance to protect/insure against purposeful damage by tenants (like if they are being evicted)?

I know our landlord insurance policy covers accidental damages.

But what if the tenant really destroys the place and then leaves. Is there any insurance that protects against that?

Has anyone used an online service (like TuneMyMusic, Soundiiz, and FreeYourMusic) to transfer playlists/songs from somewhere into YouTube Music?

I have text file with thousands of artist - song lines.

I want to bulk thumbs up all of them in YouTube Music.

I've found a few online services that claim to let you do this but I have never heard of them or if they are legit.

I am wondering if anyone has heard of these, and/or used them, and/or has recommendation for another one?
