How to fill in backside of ring for better comfort?

How to fill in backside of ring for better comfort?

I have this 40+ year old stainless steel ring, and the back of it is hollowed out, part of the casting process I assume. Problem is the outer edges of the cavity rub and I get a recurring blister on the top of my finger. Can anyone recommend me a way to fill this cavity with some sort of material that will smooth out the surface? Some sort of resin or epoxy putty maybe? I wondered if I could wear it during the curing process so it "form fits". The weight of the ring also makes it spin off-center while wearing it, despite being the correct size for me. I'm hoping it will help it stay on straight as well.

Open to suggestions.

What are the most recent bikes that have achieved "classic" status?

The FXRT without a doubt, and I think the 1990 Fat Boy is another example, thanks in great part to Terminator 2. What other bikes do you think are, or will be legendary?

Where do you draw the line between buying brand name vs. Amazon Specials?

I know tons of people buy the Amazon LED headlights because they are all supposedly from the same factory. I wouldn't buy critical maintenance parts like clutch cable, or anything brake related. But I also generally don't want to put cheap parts on my nice bike.

But things like CNC'd aluminum floorboards where the brand name are $400 but Amazon Specials are $45.. Hard to justify the price for something that's effectively the same - just billet aluminum. Paying for the badge at that point feels kind of vain.

(from baby to mother)

When first you held me in your arms,
I felt like I was swimming.
Your rising chest, an ocean swell;
A vast sea of wonder, brimming.

That first glimpse through peeking eyes,
Revealed beauty unparalleled.
Your smile, your warmth, your glow,
And your adoration I beheld.

The first step I took was toward you.
My ambition was to be nearer
To the one most precious to me.
No one else do I hold dearer.

My first word, an ode to you,
With whom I find nirvana,
Is my way of telling you,
I'm proud to call you "Mama."

I have only ever written a few little hallmark-esque poems in my life, all for my wife. This one is also for my wife, for Mother's Day, from the perspective of our one-and-a-half-year-old daughter. I appreciate any feedback or advice, especially on poetry grammar - is there supposed to be a comma at the end of every line, even if there wouldn't be one in that part if it were written out as a sentence? And every first letter in a line should be capital, even if the word is mid-sentence?

Thank you

I will share my spaghetti recipe to start this off with a contribution, but man it's so discouraging to make a nice meal and my little ones (1 1/2 and 3 1/2) not eat it. The little one is super picky and the older one eats like a bird. I always end up falling back on nuggets, corn dogs, mac & cheese. Every now and then a scratch-made meal will get torn up, but I need some fresh ideas as my rotation is getting stale.

Toddler-friendly one-pot spaghetti

Ingredients:

1lb dry thin spaghetti noodles

1lb sweet / mild Italian sausage

1 28oz can crushed tomatoes

1 Quart chicken stock (I use water + low-sodium Better than Bullion)

1 Tbsp minced garlic (fresh or jarlic)

1 Tbsp sugar

1 Tbsp dehydrated onion

1 Tbsp dried basil

1/2 Cup heavy whipping cream

Recipe:

In a 5-quart pot, fry the sausage over medium-high heat, breaking up into bite-sized chunks. Once a bit of browning has been achieved, add the garlic and stir for 30 seconds. Add the can of crushed tomatoes and the sugar and cook for 2 minutes, scraping the bottom of the pot. Add the stock, onion, basil, heavy cream, and mix thoroughly. Bring sauce to a low boil and BREAK THE NOODLES IN HALF, and add them into the pot. Trust me, this makes it so much easier for the kids. Reduce heat to simmer, cook UNCOVERED for 18 - 20 minutes.

You might never go back to ground beef spaghetti after trying this.

We have 2 kids, 1 1/2 and 3 1/2. A big part of me feels like I've been holding on for so long because I didn't want to lose out on seeing them for half the week or more (likely more due to my busy work schedule). That's the heartbreaking reality of divorce for me, that I'm not going to get to read them bedtime stories and tuck them in and kiss them goodnight every day. I fucking hate even when I am required to work a 16 hour shift and don't get to see them that evening.

But I am running out of patience and tolerance for this woman. She screamed at me in front of our 3 1/2 year old son the other night, and he collapsed to the floor crying. The fucking kicker is when I picked him up and carried him to his room, he was crying and asking "why did you yell at mommy, why did you yell at mommy?" I know he was just scared and confused, but still I got the blame.

Now she is doubling down and flat out saying she has done nothing wrong, blaming me for being in a bad head space. I'm over it. I want away from her. But my living situation will not be great if I divorce. She will get the house, she will get the kids. I will have to work even more to pay for child support, alimony, my own housing. It will leave me no time to see my children.

I see no other way than to simply continue suffering this woman.
