How to fill in backside of ring for better comfort?
I have this 40+ year old stainless steel ring, and the back of it is hollowed out, part of the casting process I assume. Problem is the outer edges of the cavity rub and I get a recurring blister on the top of my finger. Can anyone recommend me a way to fill this cavity with some sort of material that will smooth out the surface? Some sort of resin or epoxy putty maybe? I wondered if I could wear it during the curing process so it "form fits". The weight of the ring also makes it spin off-center while wearing it, despite being the correct size for me. I'm hoping it will help it stay on straight as well.
Open to suggestions.
