My scores/details:

• IPMAT : 16, 23, 92, 131
• Category: NC-OBC
• 10th GPA: 9.8
• 12th Percentage: 85.9%
• JEE Main Rank: 75k
• JEE Main Percentile: 95.15

What exactly is considered an extracurricular activity?

Are hobbies also considered extracurriculars, or should they only include formal achievements/certificates?

My hobbies/interests include:

• Fragrance enthusiast
• Gardening
• Painting
• Occasionally playing table tennis, badminton, and cricket

Would these count in any way, or should I avoid mentioning them unless I have achievements/certificates related to them?

I have a leadership award in 2nd grade , i have a gk gold medal in a school level private “olympiad“ ,some more private science olympiad medals ,

i am NC-OBC male

10th 9.8 cgpa (98%? )(TG board)

12th 85.9% (TG board)

will I clear cutoff ?

0 extra curricular activities other than some medals in school level Olympiads (SOF) because I was preparing for jee

Can ECA be the deciding factor?

lowest composite score for nc obc was 41.01 (2025)

my ATS is coming to be around 27.49 (2025 data)

so does that mean if my interview score is around 18±4 will i have a chance?

how hard is it to get 20 points in an interview ?

any SOP building idea for a ECA ?

my hobbies are gardening , perfumery , background scores paglu , amateur TT player

can I make my SOP revolve around these things?

i gave ipmat on May 4th and I'm positive I can clear cutoff

could've been better if I had studied

if i don't get any nit ill probably go for iim indore

all I care is about ROI

avg package is around 29 so ~2 years

do i take iimi ipm or some private college like vit SRM bits and stick with engineering?
