No native integration of Outlook emails to Microsoft planner is frustrating

There is one third party tool in Microsoft marketplace called [Send to Planner by Kryl Solutions ](https://marketplace.microsoft.com/en-us/product/office/wa200006378?tab=overview)

Of course our organization will not allow it

So like a stone age person I have to manually copy paste

Funny part is there is MS Teams message to planner but no email to planner.

Just Microsoft things, I guess

Local AI Meetup in Langley next Thursday (June 4) – No downtown commute, free Lovable credits, and actual tech talk

Hey everyone,

If you’re working with AI/ Tech or an AI enthusiast, then this is for you. We are organizing an evening event for our local tech community in collaboration with Lovable and AI Collective. (As a Maple Ridge local, I wanted it at Townhall pub but sadly they closed and we were not able to find location for our requirements, maybe next time)

Next Thursday, June 4, we’re hosting a local meetup in Langley at Night Owl Kitchen + Bar from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

This is part of the global Humans in AI Week initiative (the largest coordinated civilian conversation about AI), but our local focus is purely on connecting local community of builders, devs, and tech founders.

Why attend?

  • Free Lovable Credits: They’ve provided free credits for attendees so you can build and ship your next project faster.
  • Real Tech Conversations: We want to skip the high-level fluff. Come talk architecture, prompt strategies, agents, and what you’re actually building.
  • Save the commute: Network with people in your own backyard without dealing with Highway 1 traffic.

It’s a FREE event, but space at the venue is limited, so we’re keeping it specific to folks actively interested in or working with the tech.

RSVP link if you want to grab a spot: https://luma.com/the-ai-collective-vancouver-humans-in-ai-10ac4f75

On Rogers website (upgrading phone) - what is difference in One-time fees and down payment??

Broke my phone irreparable - So logged onto rogers website to buy new one. It shows Google pixel 10 as

  • $0 "down"
  • "Set up fee" - $80 waived and it is $0 only for me
  • But but.. when i click continue and add to cart it shows "One - time fee" of $179

Why this scammy word play? I am sure all of this is on purpose and not a bug. If there is an additional "one -time" fee why not show in on main page.

This is similar to airbnb UX. Just bad intentions.

*$0 Down*. No other fees mentioned on first screen

Suggestions to preserve memory of someone who passed away and was very dear to me

One of my closest friend recently passed away in a tragic accident. Unfortunately that person was in USA on business visit. I want to preserve her memory in some way. I am MR local and I want to plant a tree with small plaque somewhere in nature. I DO NOT intend to break any law, any regulation etc. I want to know if anyone provides this type of service. I am open to all ideas and suggestions other than a tree but I want a very small something where I can go whenever I miss that person etc.

There are similar services in USA in partnership with USA Parks and Rec but they do not tell you location of the tree. I do understand their reasoning but I want place where I can go by my own. I live in town house so cant plant tree in own backyard else would have done that. Please suggest.
