Artist has been posted here before a few times but not most of these ones (not based on my search results at least). Seems to be a big fan of GitS and loves playing around with its characters, lol, especially various versions of Motoko.

(The 30th anniversary pic from 2025 is a little jarring since it looks like a series celebration pic, not specific to the 1995 film, and this series really started in 1989 with the manga and is now 37 years old as of 2026, but whatever. Celebrating 30 years of GitS anime for sure tho!).

I read a blurb on the GitS fandom page for Aramaki that said:

• Aramaki's physical appearance looks almost exactly like that of the character "Dusty the coffin maker" in the 1968 Spaghetti Western: If You Meet Sartana Pray for Your Death.

So I had to look him up and I came across this Facebook image from 2017 (I dont use Facebook or have an account but somehow I managed to see the image)

I guess it's a funny coincidence, but I wonder if it isn't?

I'm a fan of spaghetti westerns too, so I gotta see this movie now.
