i don't know if this is the correct sub for this but i couldn't find a better one.
most of the clubs I've visited have a very average music lineup. the same punjabi songs, same bollywood songs like kaala chashma etc. being played on loop. a good DJ is a rare phenomenon in Indian clubs as per my experience. i visited Goa recently and even there these same kind of songs were playing, which appalled me. Goa main ye same punjabi music kyu baja rahe ho? and it was quite a big club. as someone who loves dancing, especially to Hindi songs, this is quite off-putting.
i started following new age indian DJs, like Bohib, and went to his event in Delhi. i like his music lineups because he uses older bollywood songs which are evergreen and peppy. we need more such DJs across more and more clubs, especially in Delhi!
is there any forum or a place where one could suggest songs to DJs? because I make playlists of songs which would make banger dance songs. and I wish they would listen to us people! we wanna dance to good songs!
also I'm open to suggestions of places in Delhi which have good music playing.
as the title says. I'm 28F, always been on the heavier side all my life, have gone through the trajectory of finding comfort in my body and developing my own style. still feel like a long way to go. i have my days of being comfortable in my body and some days I feel not confident. I've never fixated on losing weight or feeling down because of it too much, but I'm tired of anchoring my appearance based on me being plus size. not only is it about appearance, it is also about my personality and way of thinking that is shaped by it, as I'm realising. i want to step away from my weight being the lens through which I see myself. i try to tell myself all this but it is a long journey. sometimes, being plus size also affects how I see myself with men, although that's thankfully not too stark for me.
how has being plus size affected/empowered you? does it shape your sense of being?
would love to hear from like-minded women :)
I've been using boat neckband since last 3 years and they have finally given up on me. Need in-ear earphone recs. Major use cases are calling, so with a good mic and listening to music. I want something sturdy enough to last my daily commute which also wouldn't break too soon and has good sound quality. I'm a bit apprehensive of buying buds lest they fall off and become an expensive mistake.
good mic + great sound quality + sturdy - earphone recs for these.
i have an android phone with no earphone jack, for reference.
as title says. especially in the hot and humid weather, it becomes tough choosing lowers which don't chaff and get torn. I've always felt the most comfortable in jeans as my daily wear to work and in general but lately because of how hot it is becoming, especially in Delhi, i would love to know some lowers options from women who have fat thighs 😭
most of my jeans end up getting torn if you know what I mean. and same with linen/cotton lowers. i want genuine lowers suggestions which are breathable, comfortable and summer appropriate. pls help!!
