English translation: I have been living in Osaka for a while and finally made Japanese curry at home. I used supermarket curry roux with onion carrot and chicken thigh. It was affordable and comforting.

Watercolor of Japanese garden

I think my best watercolor painting so far. I have been criticized for not using enough water so that it looks like gouache.

What do you think?

A tiny color study before bed

Kept the palette small and let the coral do most of the work. Still rough, but I like where it landed.

Late-night sketchbook check-in

A few thumbnail sketches from tonight after class in Osaka. I'm trying to make the shapes read before adding texture. Which one feels most alive to you?
