Here are some photos of my latest build with very peculiar card pockets. These were requested by the client and are based on a design from millnrocky (though, not sure who originated it).

I'm really stoked at how this one turned out! This Italian tumbled shell cordovan is a total dream to work with. Complete with a matching hotel keyfob.

I found myself doing a handful of makers markets last year and didn't have a lot of success. Turns out, selling expensive wallets in a surfer town isn't the best business model 😅
I needed to design a wallet that could be built relatively quickly and priced competitively. I was inspired by a beautiful wallet by Adan of Amano Goods. It wrapped around itself to create the card slots. I thought about it for awhile before coming up with the idea to fold the leather inward on itself. A single stitch line holding it all together.
After a few test runs, I settled on this! A 3-pocket slip wallet that holds a surprising amount of cards. My brother, an avid Ridge wallet carrier, was even jealous!
As someone who's still new to turning this hobby into a side business, this was a satisfying exercise in problem solving. I'm most proud that it doesn't feel gimmicky to me, and still provides plenty of function at a fair price (disregarding the shell cordovan versions 😂).
