K3 WoM?

Hi everyone!

Has anyone ever heard of someone actually doing a WoM for their K3? I know it’s practically impossible to get it approved now but technically there is still an application that is not getting processed within reasonable time.
Since i130s are at a standstill, could it be a way to at least get the K3 looked at?

Would love to know everyone’s thoughts on this

Consular I-130, seriously what is going on?

How is it normal and accepted that barely any consular I130s with PD past 2024 have been approved in the last 4 months?

I keep seeing approvals for AOS I130s with this year’s PD while the official processing timeline for consular keeps extending and is now 20 months, what is going on?
It has been four months of no movement, hundreds of thousands of families are waiting in limbo with no end in sight. Why?

away from my husband for 11 months, no end in sight

Hi everyone, i hope you’re having a good day today. If not, i hope it gets better for you soon

This is my favorite dinner. Spicy ramen with salmon and green beans (they’re all at the bottom i promise). Sometimes i do broccoli as well. Could eat this every day

Anyway, I’m struggling with immigration issues. My husband is American and i’m not. We lived together for 4 years in a different country but last year he moved to America for work. I can’t come because my visa is not being processed. The processing is completely stalled. The timeline keeps getting extended. New restrictions keep coming in.

The time zone difference is 7 hours. When i wake up, he’s asleep, and when he finished work it’s midnight for me. He’s wonderful, I love and miss him so much. I just want to be together.

As i’ve said, my timeline keeps growing. I was hoping to get approved this fall, but the current official processing time for my visa type is 20 months. 20 months for a spousal visa.
So many families like mine, it just makes me so depressed. I feel the life being sucked out of me every day.

I have my own life, goals etc. But it’s hard. Every day i obsessively check for updates hoping for good news, any movement or changes. It’s been like this for months and it’s only got worse.

edit: thank you very much everyone for the support and kind words! i can’t respond to all comments because there’s a lot but i appreciate everyone’s kindness.
I’d like to reiterate that this decision was made by us together and he didn’t just leave me selfishly. It took many years deciding where we want to be and for our personal situation it made the most sense. It’s just unfortunate how it’s got so much more difficult with time.

edit 2: there’s nothing we can do at this time legally, this is not an isolated issue with our case, everyone is in the same boat right now. and i am not from a country with a strong passport so i can’t travel freely. so this is purely just a rant but all your support warm messages make me feel better!

Readability is overrated [2]

Following up on my recent post…. What are they doing over there?

“The heart wants what it wants” is just an excuse for awful romantic choices

disclaimer: i am not talking about orientation or consensual preferences. i’m talking about cheating and being creepy, basically

I usually hear this phrase used in situations where a person simply doesn’t want to take responsibility for their actions (and USUALLY it’s some form of cheating, or going for someone who is already in a relationship), and instead blames their “feelings” which they “can’t control”. I think it’s an immature way of thinking

What can I expect from this job?

Hi everyone!
I'm looking into medical interpretation as a potential alternative career route as a bilingual person (Russian / English), hoping to move to the US at some point soon depending on immigration situation. So I'm wondering about US-based jobs.

I'm getting confused by conflicting information online about the pay. Some websites say average hourly pay is $25-30 or higher which I would be very happy with, but then I see people saying that $7 is pretty good, or some that charge $0.1 per minute, which is not a lot at all and very confusing (maybe working outside the US? i couldn't find info about that). It has also been pretty difficult to find actual job listings that state the salaries.

What is the realistic expectation going into this job? Are these jobs mostly paid per minute/hour or salaried? Do you work remotely? Would you recommend this job from your personal experience? Where would you recommend one should look for a job?
Any other tips for a complete newbie in this sphere would be greatly appreciated!

always stalling at 20-30k

any reasons why this happens or tips that might help? 🥲
i try to use hooks, make original content, keep it dynamic throughout the video but this always happens

niche: language learning skits for a foreign audience
stayed to watch: ~80% on all these

sticking to my NY resolution

I’ve had many attempts at youtube throughout the last 5 years, but gave up MULTIPLE times because of lack of visible growth, shorts very rarely getting over 2000 views, long format not getting over 100-300. Classic.
Now I’m finally sticking to it and it’s paying off!
So close to my first 1000.

Most of my content currently is YT shorts, but i’ve started doing long form recently too.
My niche is English learning for a non-English audience (in my native language).
The biggest helpers were thorough niche analysis, finding my own style and being consistent without worrying about perfection.
I try a video, analyze its performance, and apply what i learned to my next one. Every time. Usually there are clear reasons why a video doesn’t do well, but sometimes it’s a bit of (un)luck.

My advice is to not take anything personally and be very analytical and consistent, as little emotion attached to the outcome as possible. It also obviously helps to find formats you actually enjoy filming for your niche.

Goodluck to everyone!

shorts stalling for 24 hours

almost all of my videos (YT shorts) have the exact same graph, some better (like this one), some worse. some will start gaining more views after 24 or 48 hours, but others will just stay at a flatline. what determines whether the video will get another push?
why do they always flatten out?

hi everyone!
my channel is small, i’m only approaching 1k. my niche is language learning and these are completely unrelated to my channel. why are these so weird?
not a single one has anything to do with the video.
all my videos are consistent to the topic, i have tags both in my channel settings and a couple on the videos, but it’s never anything related to what i post. why would my videos come up when someone searches these? 😭
is there any way to improve this?
