F650GS comfort?

OK. Old guy, questionable back, brain thinks I'm younger than I am...

I'm considering an F650GS (or, reluctantly, a 1200GS). Here's the thing. I'm short. I'm picky. I started with an XT250 but needed more highway oomph. I went to a CB500X. LOVE the bike, but the seat... I struggle beyond 1/2hr with the seat. I loved the 500 (still have it for short rides) but I needed something easier on my butt. I got a 1300Vstar. I got the lower seat height (I'm short AF), comfort for riding and saddle bags. Perfect, right? Not really. It's heavy and while I can ride it and be comfortable, it's just not as fun as the CB. And, one day I'd like to do the Dempster highway, so... not suitable. I have sat on a 1200RT and found it quite comfortable (and surprisingly low). So... that led me to looking at the GS models for the Dempster (and the dirt roads around here). All the reading I've done has said the 1200 is far more comfortable than the 650. I haven't spent time on the seat of any of the GS models, but am I going to be disappointed when I sit in them for an hour or two? What are the solutions? I know there are some lowered bikes out there, what do you give up? I'm running about 28" inseam, but I've been comfortable on bikes up to the NC750X seat height. Thoughts? Advice?

Over the air antenna

Does anyone use over the air antenna any more? We no longer have tv subscriptions and I was thinking about this option. I know it's available, but not how well it works here.

VAC account problems.

I'm an old fart. Long since retired from the military. I just tried to log into my VAC account for the first time in a couple of weeks and... well, they seem to have changed the security settings. Has anyone dealt with the new login and figured out a way to make it easier? I've been going around and around for longer than I have patience for. I suspect this isn't going to go well... at least for me.

Thanks

Kubota = John Deere

Well... the title may be dramatic, but... I had a stamped metal tension arm fail on me on my mower (Z411). Minor. I'll go order another. Almost $600 Canadian. I'm stuck, no choice, so... it's on order. I'll rebuild the old one and upgrade it. Less than 100 hours on the machine. I think this marks the end of me buying Kubota though. I love the machines, but $600 for a piece of stamped metal is beyond nuts. Kubota used to be reasonable both in price and in parts cost. I've got an RTV I'm fixing. Now I'm scared. I've got 4 Kubota machines (loader, tractor, rtv, mower). I'll have to dig into other options...

I'm trying to find a soil moisture meter that I can use in conjunction with my drip irrigation. My issues are I've not found reliable ones both in reading and in reliability. I'd like to find a decent meter to help me adjust my irrigation. Can people recommend one please.
