Not sure how widespread it was or became, but I remember in the early 2000's a lot of the rappers I listened to would try to sing/rap in Patois. Just curious how actual Patois-speaking Jamaicans reacted when first hearing it. Cringe, funny, silly, awkward, confused?
I've been having issues with my car, 2006 Dodge Charger. It has been having problems getting started. Took it to a Dodge dealer, but all they did was charge me $800 for a new key and it still has the same problem. There are some services that disable the SKIM, but they are all mail in. I don't mind disabling it because nothing else has worked and I need to get to work. I was wondering if someone knew of somebody in Vegas who can do it in person. I have all the documents to prove ownership.

Engine light came on. I turned the key a few times to see the error code, but somehow the anti-theft system got triggered and I couldn't start the car. Tried multiple times again, detached and reattached the battery cables, tried to start again, but the anti-theft system would not turn off. Called a car locksmith who tried to program a new key, but he claimed the car wasn't accepting it. He told me I need to go see a mechanic because there is something wrong with either the ECM or the immobilizer. I'm not sure if he's right or if this is still a job for a locksmith who has the right tools/skills.
Starting today, I noticed video footage would stop being displayed on the project monitor (audio still plays). I tried restoring layouts, viewing and unviewing project monitor and adding other clips to try to get it to display, but nothing worked. Downloaded the newest version and initially it worked and then started doing the same thing.
Got an oil change and the car started acting up shortly thereafter. A couple days later the engine stalled. I realized they put the wrong oil in the car. Got a new oil change, but a day later after parking the car, the alarm system went off. I had to put the key in the ignition since the fob doesn't work. Then the check engine light came on the next day. I turned the key three times to see the error code, but it triggered SKIM. I couldn't stop the alarm, so I disconnected the negative then reconnected it 5 minutes later. Alarm went off again but I was able to get it to stop by turning the key a few times. I left the key in the "on" position for 10 minutes, hoping to reset the security, then restarted the car. Turned it off. Restarted again, then turned it off. I went to close the trunk and the brake lights flashed for some reason when I closed it. Forgot to grab something and opened the trunk and the alarm went off again. Any idea why its acting this way?
