Waiting for a friend
His table is ecstasy
He asks me to stop
Furniture tetris
Three hundred pounds
Handoff at the window
Run around
Set er down
Go
Down the hill
Full send it
Brothers in arms
A river flows through
Tween space and time, me and you
Do you feel it too?
A river flows through
Tween space and time, me and you
Do you feel it too?
Sweat and sparks sizzle
Beat it, fold it, melt again
Character is art
Peace is a fortress
Outside they shout and throw rocks
Until they get bored
- Ira Miller
I want to share 5 poems I wrote, one in each of the alchemy stages. I included a poem for what I perceived as "the moment" of awakening. Perhaps it will resonate or assist in understanding.
Nigredo
Words too dark to share
Words too dark to speak out loud
Capture to dissect
Awakening
The ego is dead.
Throne sits empty
Flames spring from head
All hail new me
Albedo
Mind, body and soul
Align with violent shock
Demons make last stand
Citrinitas
Inside of my mind
Holding a big free hugs sign
Demons come unwind
Rubedo
To feel life's rhythm
To witness all and still act
I am poetry
