A theory i have long had about the film has just been confirmed for me
For the longest time, I held the belief that Rose's story was influenced by things she read about the disaster, and things she saw in movies. It not only explains why we are shown things that Rose was not a witness too, it explains why some of these scenes arent historically accurate.
Just flipped to this page while reading the illustrated screenplay, and *voila*, there it is!
I wouldnt worry about The Heart of the Ocean being lost. Famously, an astronaut went down and got it back for miss Brittney Spears
Finally got my hands on this!
Been working on a video about the film for months now.. mostly trying to figure out how to tackle all the subjects I want to tackle. I believe this may help me focus my review and criticisms.
Would an HD DVD player look better on my 4K TV than my PS5?
My PS5 essentially functions as my media device. It plays my DVD's 4K's and Blu Ray's. However, I have the impression that I can get better picture quality out of these little 240p DVD's. I would use the combo VHS/DVD player, but the DVD function is broken.
Is there any benefit to getting a dedicated DVD player?
Would the break-up have caused any suction?
I mean, it happened under water, right? How much air was still in the ship under the waterline at that point? Wouldn't the split have caused a massive influx of water to surge through the ship?
"She's cheated on her fiancé and let Jack die!"
So, Rose, a 17 year old (many consider 17 as a child still) being forced to marry a 47 year old man, who sees Rose as property, is the "villian" for cheating on him with a 20 year old man who sees her as a human being.
Also she didnt "let Jack die," Jack CHOSE to die like the men who stayed on Titanic so that more women and children may be saved.
I will give that 100 year old Rose throwing the diamond into the sea is a bit scummy. Not because she didnt give it to the treasure hunters, but because she didnt give that wealth to her family.
But looking at a child being forced to marry an adult man and saying she was "evil" for not staying in said forced marriage is a really bad, dare I say misogynistic, take on the story.
Ive been looking for another job, and I thought it'd be smart to start door dashing. I went to Canyon the other day and sat for an hour with no offers.
Right now I'm sitting in Amarillo off Georgia near a "hotspot." Hoping for some offers, but I feel like I might not get any. Is there something I'm doing wrong? When is the best time to dash?
