Feelings are heavy like foggy friday of december & we all know why. How are you holding up?

We were all on such a high recently….feeling that collective pride of seeing a major Bollywood project shine a spotlight on our city…..It felt like a massive moment for us. But almost overnight, the atmosphere has completely shifted into this heavy, underlying anger and deep gloom…. I’m not going to get into the weeds or spell out exactly what transpired to change the mood so drastically…..honestly, let’s keep the comment section a ….read between the lines……zone out of respect for all the daughters and fathers. We all know the score…..With the Maeye ni main kinnow akhaaan…. feeling this tense and uncertain; it really makes you wonder... what next? Do we just wait for the dust to settle, or is it officially time to "better call Khizer" to sort this out????? How is everyone holding up under the weight of it all today?

[DEATH ANNIVERSARY] Remembering Aamir Zaki: The genius, the torment & the uncompromising soul of Pakistan's greatest guitar virtuoso.

🔸Hey everyone,
▪️Today marks the death anniversary of a man who didn't just play the 🎸….he made it weep, scream, and speak to a generation of Pakistanis. To the kids growing up in the Karachi underground, or anyone who remembers the golden era of local rock, Aamir Zaki remains an untouchable maestro.
▪️We all know** "Mera Pyar" ….**.the melancholic national anthem of heartbreak that he wrote about his ex-wife (or as he famously put it, "someone who doesn't exist and never will"). We remember him blowing our minds as a teenage prodigy touring with Alamgir, his brief, electric stint with Vital Signs, and his raw, jazz-blues masterclass on his solo album Signature. He was a pure artist who literally built his own custom guitars because nothing off a store shelf could capture what was happening inside his head.
▪️But to remember Aamir Zaki truly on the day he left us is to acknowledge that his brilliant light came with a devastating shadow. He didn't fit into the commercial, heavily packaged Pakistani music industry. He was uncompromising, refused to sell out his soul for brand sponsorships, and as a result, spent the later years of his life in deep isolation and financial distress.
▪️The industry whispers and local rumors were always there. There were constant, painful allegations surrounding his volatile temperament, his severe personal struggles, and his battles with substance abuse as he retreated further into the shadows of Karachi. Some called him difficult; others said he was deeply misunderstood and abandoned by a commercial space that chewed up real artists and spat them out. By the time he passed away too soon on this day in 2017, he was broke, lonely, and fighting a quiet battle against a world that had forgotten how much it owed him.
▪️Zaki was a tragic genius in the truest sense—a man possessed by a beautiful, chaotic gift that gave us everything while slowly consuming him from the inside out.
▪️Rest in peace, maestro. The strings have been quiet without you.
🔸 Drop your favorite Zaki solos, memories, or tracks below. Let's keep his music alive today.

If the ongoing US government declassification of UAP/Aliens files eventually confirms the existence of intelligent alien life, how do you think society would realistically react in the first 48 hours?
