What has to be done to fix this leak under my kitchen sink?

Not sure what info might be relevant but it's an under mounted stainless steel sink. I hate this sink so if I have to replace it I won't be happy... But I won't be mad either.

He is a highly skilled tradesman and mechanical genius. But this man cannot spell. Love him tho

And if he's not taking shit apart, putting it back together, sandblasting a hot wheels car, mowing the lawn, showing me our new trail cam setup, eating a ✨discjorniaou✨ or expecting me to telepathically know what size socket he needs, then he is reading. If he is stationary he is reading. All. The. Time. All he does is read. So, I have no idea why he can't spell but he's still the smartest man I know 🥰 😂

I hate my son’s father (what else is new)

I hate this man so much I could scream. I have screamed. I do scream. Regularly. Into the void.

The long and short of it is that we were together for 12 years. He cheated on me for years, before we even had a kid ON PURPOSE.

We split in 2022 but things have steadily gone down hill. We are in court now and he is hostile as FUCK. Everyone in my life pushed me really hard to go to court from the beginning. I put it off as long as I could (until about 6 months ago) and even tho they were right and it did become necessary, I don’t think anyone understands why I put it off as long as I did. And I think a lot of people got frustrated with me for putting it off.

But now I feel like I just wanna be like “see! See! This is why I didn’t want to involve the court until I absolutely had to” because I knew he was going to go far out of his way to make my life a living hell.

He’s such an asshole to me. Everything he says is swearing and abusive and threatening. He refuses any amount of compromise and then accuses me of withholding our child from him (ex: demands that I bring our son to his house and refuses to pick him up and then accuses me of withholding because I won’t do 100% of the driving between households)

He refuses to pay for daycare and thinks that his measly child support contribution is meant for that even though our court order explicitly says they are separate.

Idk, anyone who has had a hostile “co”-parent knows how it goes.

I don’t regret my son by any means. He’s a wonderful kid and I love him with my whole heart. I love the strength I’ve gained thru motherhood and it’s changed me in so many good ways. But why the fuck does it have to come at the expense of having to have this horrible man attached me all the time.

I feel so torn between wishing he didn’t exist and knowing that it would mean either I didn’t have my son, or that my son would lose one of the people he loves most. So I don’t even get the joy of being able to fantasize about him just leaving us alone forever because I know first hand the damage that causes too.

People act like women are the problem for “choosing bad men” but he was NOT like this at all until I had a child. He was sweet, funny, kind, and thoughtful and it’s like the day I got that positive test he started turning.

Anyways, thanks for listening. Rock on bromos 🫶🤘🖕

Got this Alexander Calder exhibit poster for $1.99

Very happy with this find! Alexander Calder (1898-1976) was a sculpture artist known for his odd but still charming (imo lol) wire sculptures. He, for a time lived in Roxbury, CT and I found this at GW just a town or two over from there so it’s very cool to have a bit of local art history to decorate my walls with.

It’s actually not the full 7 acres but most of it. I don’t even know where to start. Just looking at these pictures overwhelms me. I feel like goat rentals or any other professional service is probably more than I can afford for a few years (some more pressing things to throw money at first).

But I’m also going to urgent care tomorrow for a nasty tick bite. My family and I have pulled so many off us. We find them in our bed almost nightly. We have treated the yard, treated the dog. Cleared as much leaf litter and barberry from the edge of the yard as we can. I feel like they’re crawling on me all the time 😭 I’m so done. We have some really nice trails through the woods that also lead to our fire pit area but we hardly even want to use them because we come back covered in ticks every time. I know that ticks are a fact of life in the northeast and getting worse every year but this has got to be a contributing factor to our problem, no?

The best solution I can think of without spending the money for a professional service is going ham with a brush cutter and treating and tearing out as much as possible and just taking it one small area at a time and maybe in a hundred years they will be contained lol.

The remainder of my grievances I’m saving for the English ivy, bush honeysuckle, vinca, and multiflora rose that inhabits whatever space is left.
