Man, Shofukan and Lingus were killer! Anybody got pics or videos of tonight? :)
Due to a friend bailing on me, I'm going solo to the Vienne show and was wondering if there'd be some folks whom I could join! Hit me up if you're interested, would love to meet some of y'all :)
Due to a friend bailing on me I'm now alone at the Vienne show and was wondering if there'd be some people I might join! DM me if you wanna link up! Peace & love
PS: Also still got the 1 ticket from my friend for sale!
I'm travelling to Montpellier for their show and was wondering if there'd be some people I could join! Feel free to DM me :)
Met Mac randomly after the Vienna Show at the bar of the venue, like 1+ hours after the show ended. Showed him the dream I had the night before (which I wrote down in my dream diary) and asked him to fulfill the prophecy! He was really nice, just seemed a bit tired. Shit's surreal!
This works on my desktop but not on android and it really bugs me. I often wanna listen to all songs that I have saved by a specific artists in shuffle mode. Usually this should work by just typing their name in the search bar in my library, then all their songs showing up and me selecting one of them. On my phone, it just shuffles through my entire library afterwards, not recognising the pre-made selection.
Other streaming services for example got the feature, that you can go to an artists page and then see all songs by them that you have saved and then listen to that selection. I'd really like that to work...
I'm selling a ticket for Vulfpeck in Vienne, France on the 11th of July because my friend sadly can't go. DM me if you're interested!
/uj I think Get Back is a great view into their process but a part of me wishes that we could have seen the recording of albums like Pepper where the concept wasn't having a live approach.
Seeing them fooling around a lot and doing very basic versions of their songs makes me wonder how John for example had the motivation to do so many overdubs, little gimmicks and weird, complex arrangements for many songs. I just don't see how these things emerge from just playing your songs together as a band over and over, compared to maybe a spontaneous lyrics or so.
But then again, the process must have been different for Get Back because of the "Back to the roots"-approach... I just wonder how they went about it with some things. Like in Revolution 1 at 3:24, the looped/cut-up drum hits, very unusual for the time. Or hundreds of other little things where you really have to get into the production.
I'm posting this here because fuck the main subreddit. /rj they just didnt want us to see Bernard Purdie in the studio playing all the drum parts cus Ringo was too busy beating his wife half to death
Do you think we will be getting Disco Ulysses with lyrics or has that ship sailed (pun intended)? Maybe they are staying true to the lore and are gonna wait 10 years for it to drop.
