Hello there. I have an issue with running Ghostrunner 2 on Bazzite, with KDE Plasma. I am encountering this bug weird playback issue, where the game intro fails to play, and the cut scenes are refusing to play properly on showing cut-scenes. I am playing the game from Epic Games, downloaded and managed by heroic game launcher (flatpak). The thing is, on protondb, latest reports show that the game runs flawlessly, without any issues. I tried switching to the latest version of ge-proton, and also the latest version of cachyos-proton, both fail to resolve the issue.

What actually solve the issue:

1. Switching to Ge-Proton 9-27. This solves the issue, but I need to inject FSR4, which this version does not support.

2. Switching to vanilla wine 11, downloaded from proton plus. This fixes the playback issue, but introduces a new one, it crashes a few moments after opening the menu, with a "panic error".

I am very puzzled by this issue, especially because no other people have experienced it. I digged a bit deeper, this playback problem also existed on winodws, but that was solved by installing windows media pack from the microsoft store. So, I tried installing windows media player 11 component using protonfixes, but this does not solve the issue.

After digging deeper, the issue is likely related to something called Media Foundation handling being different on games from Epic than on Steam, and some component called gstreamer. I tried a few environmental variables tweaks and some winecfg library configs, but nothing yet solved the issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello there. Anyone successfully ran Ghostrunner 2 on Linux? I am very puzzled as the reports on protondb for this game say that the game runs flawless. But I still can't seem to fix the white cutscene issue at the start of the game, even after switching to proton-ge. What am I missing here?

We should have the ability to hide reels that use certain songs or audio, the same way we could hide content with certain words or phrases. Because if I hear "me and the devil" one more time, I'm going to lose it!

Hello there. I am having trouble running RPCS3 on Linux (Bazzite). When I try to run any game, it sort of freezes, and goes back to desktop. But here's the weird part, it also causes steam, brave browser, and discord client to crash, which all happen to be electron apps. The only fix seems to be clearing the cache every time I want to run a game. Is anyone else having this issue? Here are the relevant specs:

Bazzite 44
AMD RX 9070 XT
AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D

So... I'm having trouble blocking internet access on specific games on heroic game launcher.

Firejail does not play well with flatpaks.

Opensnitch is almost impossible to install on Bazzite. (Believe me, I tried)

Tried to wrap unshare command, doesn't work.

Anything else to try before I consider distro hopping? Thanks.

Hi. Over a month ago, I accidentally initiated a new project on the wrong account, and therefore this initiated a google cloud subscription. So, I made sure to delete both the project and its associated billing account.

Time has passed, and I wanted to delete my card from the payments method as it is about to expire. However, it tells me there was an active subscription that I must close before I could do that.

I was puzzled, as I don't remember that I subscribed to anything lately. And so it turns out, it is that google cloud subscription, still active and asking me for that $10 prepayment! I went over to the cloud console to check if I had forgot to delete anything, but apparently there is nothing, there are no projects at all, neither active nor pending for deletion, and no billing accounts as well. I also checked if I may have pending google cloud costs, but it's zero.

I tried getting in contact with the subscription support, and they told me that you have to get in contact with the google cloud support. Then I tried getting in contact with the google cloud support, but the ai chat bot was useless in helping me, all it did was tell me to delete my payments profile, which is not possible to do because there is still an active google cloud subscription, which should be deleted by this time, but it isn't. Ohh, and I tried to get in contact with a human support agent, but apparently these days you are not entitled to a human support agent unless you have a premium google cloud subscription, and therefore you are stuck with a useless ai chatbot.

Any help in resolving my case is appreciated.

Hello there. How do I go back to SDDM on KDE after updating to Fedora 44? Cause I tried sudo systemctl disable plasmalogin, and then sudo systemctl enable --force sddm.service, but that did not seem to work.

Any help would be appreciated.
