can one really be DQ'd from a job because of places they've worked in the past?
like i've heard people say they'll pass on drivers who've worked for some nameless large companies in the past...is that a real thing?

he was in the best equipment of his day, he was in the Hendrick cars of his day and everyone else was in either RCR or RWR cars....
Was driving south on a 4-lane highway with a center turning lane, and on the northbound lane, a car was in the left lane, got passed on the right by a car going faster, but coming up to the rear was another car and without losing any momentum the rear vehicle passes on the LEFT in the center lane
What are we doing here? We have people passing on shoulders and now passing in center lanes
when he gets out of the car he looks like he just got off of a Sunday drive, doesn't look like a guy who just beat the entire field in a 3 hour race! everyone else looks like they just got their asses kicked.....but not the guy who actually did it

just an old person curious about how other generations did things
I was 19 and a half, my parents spent a year and a half telling me to move out and saying "nobody your age lives with their parents"
So its not uncommon for me to sleep in the clothes I have on or sleep in jeans, is that so bad? People judge me for it but don't explain why
i've learned this the hard way. but I also work a job people don't respect
Thats all kept secret from the candidate and and companies make decisions based off a top secret document about you. I've been told this several times by recruiters for places I tried to apply to
a friend of mine who looks-down on me for working weekends made some comments how she wishes she could have weekdays off and it got me thinking of this question
