Steve actually went to apologise to Jonathan

I've just rewatched Season One of Stranger Things and at first I actually despised Steve Harrington as a Character as I found him creepy, manipulative, and obnoxious but now that I've watched it again I don't find him so bad.

I still prefer Jonathan as a Character overall especially in S1 and Steve did bully him by Breaking his Camera, insulting his family and called him a homophobic slur but he also had every right to be mad at him for taking inappropriate pictures of him and Nancy outside his House, Jonathan then pretty much stole his Girlfriend not long after that and beat the crap out of him and yet still Steve went to his house to apologise to him. That was literally so sweet. 🥹

He didn't go for Nancy as he didn't even know she was there. He didn't go to start another fight he simply went to apologise and only ended up helping them fight the Demogorgan just by chance. He simply went to apologise to him and I never really saw it that way up until now...

Is it me or is Karen obviously Autistic?

As a Man with Autism myself I look at the Character of Karen Brockman and think "yep she's definitely one of us".

For example she takes absolutely everything so literally, is somewhat a bit of an outsider as in Series Four she made Friends with a Girl called Tanya who was nothing like her and was clearly using her and she's also quite an anxious little Girl.

I know she can be a bit of a Brat at times like all Children but she's still quite a strong minded, clever and moral Character and now I'm rewatching Outnumbered as an Adult I find her the most relatable.

It's pretty obvious that Ben has ADHD which is why he's so full of energy and questions all the time but I definitely think Karen could have Autism and I think it's a bit of a shame that was never explored...

Ravi is a truly atrocious human being

That's literally it but the fact people defend him all the time (probably for his good looks) is annoying. If Ravi looked more like Reiss Colwell then nobody would like him

I love Jonathan Byers

Jonathan reminds me so much of myself when I was fifteen. He's so misunderstood, I get that taking pictures of Nancy undressed was very very wrong but he didn't do it with bad intentions. He went to see if he could take pictures of the Demogorgon and yet that's the only reason people don't like him (that and the fact he's not Steve)

Charlie Heaton played an absolute blinder as Jonathan in Season One but he doesn't really do much after that and just becomes Nancy's pot head Boyfriend which is a shame as I think he's a brilliant Character and my favourite throughout the whole show..

TipToe was incredible...

I'm not going to spoil the ending for those who haven't seen but jesus christ I got a shock. This was Russell T Davies back to his brilliant best just like It's a sin and Doctor Who between 2005-2009.

Alan Cumming deserves every award going and a massive shout out to David Morrissey who was absolutely terrifying in his role as Clive which was strange as I'm used to seeing him play a nice Character for some reason...

I'm a Staright white man by the way and I'd recommend every straight person to watch TipToe as it shows why we still need pride more than ever. Melba's speech in episode one about how Homophobia is on the rise again essentially because of Trump and how people online can pretty much say what they want and get away with it just sums the whole thing up 👏🏻

Who are the most chavvy footballers you can think of?

Jordan Pickford has to be up there. Jamie Vardy and Kieran Trippier as well...

What do we all think of Steve Fleming?

One part of me thinks he was just a misunderstood, out of touch, old fashioned MP who was simply doing his best. After all Malcom (like always) made things absolutely impossible between the two of them.

However the other part of me says he was an insane, angry, moustached, smarmy creep who tried way too hard to be funny and everyone's mate. He was awful when he got Malcom sacked the first time and had potentially been sexually harassing Nicola Murray for months offscreen, that scene where he called her a "pottymouth" he really violated her personal space. Made worse by the fact we could see right up his nose.

David Haig really knocked this role out the park, I don't think I've ever known a side Character in any TV Show to have the impact Mr Fleming did. It's a shame we didn't get to see more of him in Season Four..

These two were underrated as Freinds

I know Bernadette went to live in Spain with Karen and her family and I have no clue where Dotty is now but I hope they are reunited now as they had good chemistry. Better than Bernie's relationship with Tiffany.

Dotty was mean but she was also confident and outgoing but I also felt like she brought out the best in Bernie and helped her come out of her shell. Bernadette I feel helped Dotty become a better person.

Eddie Knight and his long lost brother...

Is it just me or can anyone else see Davros in him haha. Fair fucking play though to Chris Fairbank, he's actually made me excited to watch EastEnders again as Eddie is just so repulsively yet spectacularly evil...

I'm not an Athiest as I believe in some sort of higher power but I just want to come here an say how much I can't stand any religions. To quote the incredible Robert Smith "I fucking hate all and any religions."

Most Wars and a lot of bad things that happen are caused by people's religion. Religions only exist to serve men hundreds of thousands of years ago, it's mostly all ludicrous and people need to wake up and move on. I get comfort from the idea of Aliens and I like to believe they exist which is honestly more feasible than an old man living in the sky controlling us all. If 'God' exists then it's most likely some form of Alien. I don't care anymore I said what I said

Malcom Tucker - Didn't go to Prison and was instead given a suspended sentence. Went back on the drink for a bit before getting sober and is still hugely respected by the Labour Party. He now lives with his new wife (Sam).

Ollie Reeder - He didn't last long as senior advisor and after a year was sacked after countless allegations of "bullying and undermining". He's now a crippling alcoholic with no bladder control as Malcom predicted.

Julius Nicholson - Still a hugely respected member of the Cabinet and played a key role in Labour's landslide victory in 2024.

Steve Fleming - Still a backbencher for the Labour Party whilst under investigation after being accused by multiple women for having "wandering hands".

Jamie McDonald - Sectioned under the mental health act after glassing someone on a Motherwell away day.

Glen Cullen - After choosing to not hand himself into the Police he instead went to live in Wales were he would then join the Green Party, apply to become an MP and eventually ends up winning a Seat in Parliament.

Nicola Murray - Divorced her Husband James and finally went to live in America to never be heard from again. Probably for the best

Hugh Abbott - Dead.

Peter Mannion MP - Retired on health grounds and now sits at home watching Snooker whilst drinking unpronounceable scotch. He often get's invited to make after dinner speeches for the Tory party and occasionally does it when he can be bothered (hardly ever).

Phil Smith - After Mannion retired Phil resigned from the Conservative Party to become Peter Mannion's agent and is currently writing his biography.

Emma Messinger - Still works for the Conservative Party.

Stewart Pearson - After getting pickled in the think tank he now works for Sky TV and appears on those health and safety videos you do when online training for work.

Fergus Williams MP - Still somehow an MP for the Liberal Democrats and no one really knows what he does or how he's still there.

Adam Kenyon - Either back at the daily mail or writing for the Telegraph. Him and Fergus are still friends.

Terri Coverly - After being made redundant she then opened a Cafe called 'Coverly's Coffee' which is essentially ran by the two young lasses she employs and does nothing herself other than sit at her desk all day eating cakes and booking holidays.

Robin Murdoch - Still a civil servant.
