Ice Cap Paint OR Moonstone Fabric Interior OR wait

I put a refundable deposit down on a 2027 SE with ice cap paint and black fabric interior. But upon some digging it seems like there are mixed reviews on the paint quality of the 040 formulation for Ice Cap and that it could be more prone to chipping or peeling. Is this still an issue in newer models?

Alternatively, I could reserve a Chill Pearl White for the higher quality paint, but that one has the moonstone fabric interior that I think would Def be stained or dirty within a year.

What are yalls thoughts on ice cap? I do like the white, but if the paint quality would be better on a diff color, should I wait?

Prospective buyer, would you recommend the corolla HB and should i wait for 2027?

Currently driving an '09 Honda Fit Sport. Considering Corolla HB, Cross, and possibly a crosstrek.

Love my little go kart fit, but time to upgrade to something new that'll last me many years to come. I mostly do city and highway driving, lots of short trips, don't usually put more than 10k miles on per year. We get snow here, but roads are usually cleared quickly and its easy enough for me to stay in more if were going to have a bad enough storm, haven't had issues in the Honda fit with snow tires.

Also Im 6'00", no kids, just a partner who will sit in the passenger seat, maybe occasionally ill carry coworkers in the back to lunch or something.

Would you recommend the Corolla HB? I love that its affordable, toyota reliability, looks like itll drive similar-ish to my fit (fun driving in the city, great for parallel parking). Ultimately looking for a car that'll ill be able to drive for several years after I've paid it off.

Finally, it is so hard to find one to test drive!! There's always 1 or 2 that are in transit or in the build phase, but without putting down a $500 deposit, getting a test drive is impossible. The 2027 HB doesnt seem to add much value, but will supply maybe be a little better once the 2027s start coming out?

Thanks all!

Edit: just put a deposit(refundable) down on a 2027 SE currently in the build phase 🥳🥳

How bad are the speakers in the Base Trim? Debating base or premium trim

Hi!

Prospective buyer wanting to join the crosstrek fam. Can anyone give me an idea of how big of a leap the speaker quality is going from the base trim to the premium trim? I know its 4 speakers to 6, but how much does that really affect music and sound quality for yall?

The main reasons I'm considering the premium trim is for the speakers and the roof rails. Tbh, I don't see myself using the roof rails much, the crosstrek just kind of looks naked without them. The other features of the premium dont really matter much to me, and I wouldnt spring for weather package for 2k extra.

Government worker here. So budget is always tight, 1k difference isn't much but every dollar counts.

Thanks!

[TOMT] Techy emo sounding band from the 2000s or 2010s?? (Im sorry inAdvanced for how few details i have)

Walked into a shabu restaurant to pickup takeout and heard a familiar song playing. Didn't think to Shazam it before leaving as i was in and out so fast.

It sounded so familiar, like something I would have heard in the 2000s or 2010s. Emo sounding alt band with a very gender neutral sounding lead singer (who kind of had a beastboy or teen titans vibe, i think they were female, but not sure) had a techno/alt/house vibe.

Edit: i called to ask the restaurant what playlist they have on. They said 'Phoenix Radio', I thought this meant like a Phoenix area Radio station playlist on spotify. There are so many titled this on Spotify though, so it doesnt help much. Couldn't find the song in the radio for 'phoenix' the band either.
