Rent-stabilized 2-bed apartment available on UWS for lease swap $2800

I have a 2-bed 1 bath apartment on UWS available to swap leases with either a 1 or 2 bed apartment in Brooklyn. It can come either unfurnished or fully furnished and can be swapped either permanently or for at least a year.

The apartment is a fourth floor walkup in a pre-war building. It sits above a laundromat and has been renovated to have a dishwasher. It’s about a 10 min walk from Columbia, 7 min walk from the B/C trains and 8 min walk from the 1 train. It’s also about 22 min from the Times Square station.

On shopping, it’s a 10-15 min walk (or 3 min bus) from the 96th st shopping center with Whole Foods, Target, TJ Maxx, Home Goods, Trader Joe’s, Chick Fil A and Chipotle. It’s also close to multiple food options including Vietnamese, Sushi, Indian, Mexican, Italian and American. 6 min walk from the famous Mama’s Too pizza restaurant.

Offering free resume reviews from a hiring manager

Hi ladies,

I’m a hiring manager and would like to give back to this community by offering free resume reviews to those who need them. I know a lot of people are currently searching for jobs right now. I’m not hiring right now but can help in other ways.

DM me your resume or cover letter (with personal details removed) and I’ll give you pointers based on what I look for as a hiring manager in corporate. Also tell me a bit about the types of jobs you’re looking for. I’ll offer advice as best as I can.

If anyone else has experience as a recruiter or hiring manager and would like to do the same, say something in the comments.

AITAH for this exchange at the airport?

I was at the currency exchange counter at the airport.

Me to cashier: Hi, I’d like to exchange currency

Cashier: Sure, if you have a visa or Mastercard, there’s a fee and you need to provide your passport.

Me: Okay. I have cash to exchange. Do you accept that?

Cashier: If you have a visa or Mastercard, there’s a fee and you need to provide your passport.

Me: So you accept cash?

Cashier: If. If. If. I said if you have a visa or Mastercard.

Me: So can you confirm whether you accept cash to proceed?

Cashier: (Louder and in a rude tone) IF…IF you have a visa or Mastercard, there’s a fee and you need to provide your passport.

Me: Saying yes or no to whether you accept cash is easier than repeating yourself.

Cashier: You need to listen more carefully.

I rolled my eyes and went to the neighboring cashier. She called security on me for rolling my eyes and tried to get the cashier who was serving me to not complete the transaction.

AITA in this scenario?

At what point is it considered socially appropriate to show my new boyfriend how crazy I am?

I’m tired of performing sanity. I also need to fart. Badly

Getting colds very often for the past year

25F 5’3 115 lbs non smoker
Have depression and take SSRIs for it

Over the past 12 months, I’ve had a cold almost once a month for at least two weeks out of the month. My most recent one has lasted over two months straight now. It began with cough-heavy colds but now I tend to get one with a runny nose during the day and stuffed at night. I’ve unsuccessfully tried OTC medication, gone to my doctor who prescribed something to suppress the cough, gone to an ENT who prescribed Flonase and neti pot but still nothing has worked so far. The ENT said my airway looks normal and there’s also no sign of bronchitis. I also dust and change my sheets regularly to reduce dust and mite irritation.

It’s bearable but has significantly degraded my quality of life. Who do I need to see or what do I need to do to stop it?
