Heyhey all, I have a social group discord for ACT and Sydney if anyone is interested in joining. I’m planning one event each month as a main for each SYD and ACT but there are smaller events scattered around (mostly SYD). That being said we are planning a catch up at ramen daddy on the 5th of September (ACT) if anyone is interested. Im new to NSW after a long time in WA so Im learning what there is to do in ACT tbh so if anyone has suggestions im all for it. Please be mindful if you do want to join it’s an anti lurker server. Anyone sitting around without talking or contributing for over a month will be kicked, I also want to make it clear it is NOT a dating or hook up server so don’t even try. 👍

Heyy all, just wanted to put out there as a follow up from a few weeks ago I did end up making the discord for ACT and SYD social group. A few of us went out for pho and airlab yesterday thanks to my meticulous planning 🫪🤣 Anyway, our first main event will be linner at the lookout echo point followed by a lit up night walk in Katoomba (1.5kms). If keen please indicate interest here or dms and I’ll send a link. Please be mindful my server is strictly no lurkers, every month I will clean out my server of inactive users so if you’re planning to join to collect dust please dont. I also am very strict about it not being a hook up or tinder platform so if I hear any unwarranted DMs flying around I’ll publically humiliate you followed by a swift dismissal into the abyss. ❤️

Does anyone else have issues with finding a job due to PoTs? I originally got diagnosed with pots after I went for a fifo gig and the step up test showed my hr was high with moderate exertion so I got tested, missed out on that job. For some reason as a nurse i had to do a fitness test with jobfit .. same thing .. and now as an electrical apprenticeship. Ive gotten through my whole life fine, ive climbed flights of stairs easier than people without pots.. my hr is just higher .. I almost feel like this is discrimination..

Heyy Im Jamie, I’m 31 (soon to be 32F). I hosted a Perth social group that worked out pretty well from January up to June this year when I moved over to NSW. Would like to know if people would be interested to try ? I made some pretty good friends in it and people made some solid connections, I have things I need to work on within myself , but I’m learning to open up to people. We made monthly events like mini golf, movies, axe throwing ect, I would like to meet some more people over this way both in ACT and Sydney (im Goulburn) depending on response I might make another group, honestly it’s hard making friends when you’re my age and everyone already has set friendships or family, but sometimes it’s nice just being around people even once a month. Also FYI my account says nsfw and I have no idea why, I uploaded a pic of my face and it started saying that which is a bit rough but I swear Im not dodgy 🤣🤣

Hello all, I’ve spent my entire working career as a nurse and then admin, I’m looking for a bit of change and redirection. I was thinking of doing TC for a year then getting an apprenticeship as a sparky. If there’s any women here that do either I would love to chat. My ultimate goal is WHS but as I was doing the course I realised it’s a lot of ‘protect the company’ not the workers ifykyk. I would absolutely love logistics and construction experience on-top of my healthcare but need a bit of direction as to what to expect and peoples experiences from either gender. I would also like to know how badly 5 demerits will impact my work ability (yes im an idiot) x2 speeding fines, 3 points will go by September so I’ll only have 2 then should I wait to apply for TC jobs then?
