Here in the UK, We've had two train derailment in under 24 hours,

One happened in South Sussex and the other (first picture) happend in Exxex, There have been a number of injuries but as far as Im aware and thankfully, No deaths!

Some are saying its due to the heatwave that caused the tracks to buckle.

GBR Network Mainline on some fleets

Here are Network Mainline I've done, Its a semi fast sub brand of Network Railway, There's still some work needs doing but this is the latest.

On some fleet, The end doors remained red but added white stripe surrounding the doors, I looked at DB ICE 3 Neo and thought I do something similar shown on last picture.

I've also added Network Highspeed for South Eastern High speed service, While the others has a silver base color, The high speed is in birilliant white.

GBR Low Cost Intercity

GBR Intercity Rayo (low cost)

Here is a low cost version of my alternative GBR Intercity.

Very similar to TGVs Ouigo low cost brand, It would operate on certain Intercity services, Swapping out a regular Intercity without the need of taking up more paths, For example:

10:00 London - Edinburgh - Intercity
10:30 London - Edinburgh - Intercity
11:00 London - Edinburgh - Rayo
11:30 London - Edinburgh - Intercity

Could also be used for peak trains/additional services

Formed of 5 - 10 car Bi/tri mode trains with being standard class throughout, No first class and no buffet. Much like Lumo.

One end of the train has Standard plus class, Which is basically Standard class but with extra legroom and bigger tables and its a dedicated quiet zone. Ideally used for business/student travellers.

It also comes with either at seat trolley service, Vending machine or could have both.

The regular standard class are mostly airline with a few bays around the middle of each coaches, again much like Lumo. As for Lumo, It could be some serious competition between the two.

The name Rayo, In spanish means Lightning, A flash of bright light during a storm.

Feel free to come up with other names that would work with this.
