I am watching you through a camera - Artie Ziff

Can't help but think of this scene when I hear sweet dreams are made of these.

Nigel Mirage. He doesn't want you talk about the £5m and he also doesn't want you to know Andy Burnham is actually doing something good.

He doesn't want you to know Andy Burnham is doing a good job because he then can't convince you to vote for him. He doesn't want you talking about his £5m donation because he'll loose voters.

Prepare to waste your tax payer money on another by-election. Because you don't resign if you're not guilty. If you have resigned from your seat, you should not be able to stand it's by-election. You can stand again at the next GE.

When are we expecting the next by-election? What do you think the investigation will uncover on top of the £5m?

For me there is something contemporary about sitting in bed with a handheld radio, winding down with BBC R 3.

I know classical isn't everyone's taste, but for me this is a feeling. I don't know if I would spend my evening any other way.

*The night is dark. All through the home,

A quiet settles, soft and deep,

As shadows stretch and minutes roam,

And breathing shifts to match the sleep.

The house grows still as hours pass by,

A gentle easing of the day,

Until the stars fill up the sky,

And all the noise has slipped away.

The night is here. The dark is deep.

The final lamp begins to dim.

It is time to yield to quiet sleep,

And sing the world a resting hymn.*

This is your sign to give yourself some grace.

Stop spending all your energy forgiving everyone else while withholding forgiveness from yourself.

You did the best you could with what you knew back then. Realizing you'd do things differently now is just called growth.

It's okay to finally put that baggage down and let the past go.

Give yourself some grace.

If you are on the side of disabled people, please raise your hands...

It costs on average £1,000+ for a disabiled person to actually live and be able to provide for themselves. Personal Independence Payment barely covers that. We don't claim it because we want to. We claim it because we have no choice or have no other source of income to survive. The process itself is grueling and and for many torturous.

Many disabled people need equipment that they can't afford to pay out of pocket. Other disabled people rely on specialist foods and nutrition which is expensive in itself. Other means of transport that costs a fortune.

We don't claim PIP because we don't want to work. Many would work if they could. Many do want to work, but the support in to work doesn't exist.

We don't get free cars either. Deposits paid on motability cars are paid out of pocket. A portion of PIP goes to paying for the car. Nothing in life is free.

We just like everyone else want to co-exist with everyone else.

We all want to live our lives like everyone else without the threat of being left in destitution or left for dead. I say all this as a disabled person who does work.

I ask you this question on behalf of all disabled people... If we must fight for our right to financial security, will you join us? If we must protest in the streets, will you join us? Will you fly the flag of disability pride in solidarity?

Pictured is the disabled flag with a gray background and 5 colours in a diagonal stripe.

Charcoal Gray Background: Honors and mourns victims of ableism, violence, negligence, and abuse directed at disabled people.

Red: Physical disabilities and mobility impairments.

Gold (Yellow): Cognitive, intellectual, and neurodivergent conditions.

White: Invisible and undiagnosed disabilities.

Blue: Psychiatric and emotional disabilities.

Green: Sensory disabilities (including Deafness and blindness).

Here's a couple pics from when I was recently visiting Paris.

The useful thing about Paris buses is that the routes are colour coded and the route numbers on the bus show that number. It's easier to identify a route by colour than trying to squint and find out the number.
