one thing i would like to say is that i think free healthcare is a human right and i would classify myself as an eco-conservative

what idealogy am i and how could i improve my views?

my views ( as a Catholic) ( based on personal experince, reading the news and studying/ further reading on the topics of econmics, politics and internatinal relations)

SOCIAL:

Conservative views:

abortion= bad. ban it completely. right to life>>>

LGBTQIA+=Bad, although they are humans and should be treated with equal respect and humanity since we are all made in God's image and God loves each and every one of us more than we could ever comprehend.

deport illegal immigrants who are in this country ( UK, i live in south london as a Pole/British) (ones who have been here for ages and ones that have just arrived )and arne't accepted for refugee/asylum status, BUT treat them with more humanity since they are still human and deserving of equal rights, and give them some disposable income so they won't be homeless/ destitute after being deported

minimal immigration into country

more patroitism, especially in schools and in history and our culture.

more Christianity in society.

ban assisted dying

spend more on military ( especially cheap drones)

Liberal views:

more freedom of speech

prison should be more focused on community service and rehabilitaion instead of punishment

climate change=bad

I LOVE NATURE!!!

more/better free mental health support

plant more native trees

ban the death penalty

parental leave should be spread as evenly as possible between mother and father

no gender pay gap

ECONOMIC VIEWS:

Capitalist views:

SEZs (singapore model) in the top 5 biggest cities in the country

less taxes for working and lower-middle class people

slash benefit spending ( but not completely) ( on people who can work but chose not to) ( in the uk it is cooked, the government spends more on welfare/benefit spending alone then it does on taxes)

have a scheme were corportate taxes are cut slightly for individual companies who can prove they are hiring workers (particulary young workers) and investing in the economy/ country

corporation tax cuts for SMBEs

support british companies

north sea gas and oil drilling to help sheild uk from energy shocks

Socialist views:

Nordic model of economy throughout the country apart from the SEZs mentioned above

free healthcare (NHS)

FDR'S CCC-type Public Works Acts to get young people in nature and improve our country generally (nature) and give them more confidence with working

governmet-control of water and nuclear energy

BUILD NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS THEY ARE THE BESTTTTT ( and have them governmet-owned)

invest in top-end manufacturing and reasearch indutries

invest in research and development

FOREIGN POLICY:

i am very pro-europe and believe in closer military, political and economic ties between european powers. (especially since we can't trust the US much anymore)

anything outside of europe i dont really care/ wouldnt give any funding to ( if you get what i mean ) unless human rights atrocites were bieng commited in some country i would intervene.

Pro-ukraine

slightly pro-palestine ( both sides are in the wrong though)

right so i want to buy a bike and my current bike has shimano taigra hoods which i love becuase i have small hands. i am deciding between a bike with sram red axs ( which have quite small hoods) and shimano di2 ( which have medium sized hoods) which groupset has the hoods the most similar shape/ size to shimano tiagra . please can people who have ridden all groupsets/ know what all groupsets are like tell me. why do Left-wing people think that left wing economic policiies will work in western countries? like governemts have tried them but they haven't worked. personally, i think that centrist economic policy combined with a bit of market de-regualtion will bring about economic growth in western countries ( think of JFK and LBJ beforE Vietnam and Einsehower) . what do you guys think?
