The First Tour de France You Don’t Have to Just Watch
For a hundred years the Tour asked one thing of us: watch. This one asks a better question: want a go?

I am bothered by the bouncing characters on the side of end of rides. I like that everything is real. Those bouncing cartoon characters disturbs the overall feel. Please remove this feature.
Also, there is no longer any way to offer feedback to ROUVY from the app not website.
I got the free trial for rouvy for fathers day to see if my dads dumb with a speed and cadence sensor and then we went on vacation. I FORGOT TO CANCEL THE TRIAL. I come home to a 250 cad bill for the yearly sub . Is there anyway I can refund it
pls anything
This isn't just a Rouvy issue as it was the same on Zwift but the way it feels to ride in these games isn't at all like riding my real bike outside in terms of gears and speed and I'm wondering if there's a setting I can adjust.
Outside when I go down hills, I can coast and fly and then on the upcoming flat, I will carry that momentum for a while.
While playing Rouvy, I have to CONSTANTLY be peddling to keep going. Is that just how these indoor trainers work?
Is this app now confirmed shutting down after the Zwift sell out? It worked fine for over 1,000 miles now it won't connect heart rate monitor (phone and watch is still perfect) and it says I'm doing 5mph on flat land (I'm doing 20)
Remember, very much remember, you have to PAY for this. They took money from me, for now, for this. While they may be retarded of course I'm nice I'll give a chance for them to fix this before I charge back, is there a confirmation yet they are shutting down and refunding?????
since the new update my pace partners are always perfect and thus assisting me to max
is this normal and fair or is it a setting that's automatically come on and I must adjust
Apparently in the Zwift App you can setup both the V1 and V2 to be used at same time, but Rouvy only allows one. Any plans to support both ? Also, it would be nice to press and hold the gear change button to quickly up shift or down shift. One final request is to provide other gear configs besides 1-24 sequential .
With eight mountain stages, five summit finishes, Alpe d’Huez on two consecutive days, the Galibier, and a cobbled finale “Uninspiring” is the wrong word. This route is savage and thats the problem.
I did the survey and want to simply clarify my question because it confounds me.
Ok, I get people like Doolittle, whoever this is, who can hold 10, 8 watts for a long time. They're someone super strong and I've seen them on rides and leader boards, so I get it. Mysterious power person.
But what I don't quite get is when someone on a regular trainer in a ride (no indication it's a non smart trainer or workout) can for less wattage go quite a bit faster than I am going.
Example from this week, both riders, me and someone else are on a TT bike. I assume pir bikes are the best and we've probably both chosen bikes/wheels based on that online comparison chart. Now they may weigh more than me, I get that and in real life On a downhill I have to pedal my ass off to keep up with heavier guys in real life, and so I get this when this also happens on Rouvy, which it did. (I do wonder how much Rouvy compensates for heavier riders and if that matches real life).
However, on the flats they are pushing out half my wattage and going quite a bit faster. On hills they continue to put out less wattage and stay ahead. I mean huh? If they're heavier that won't work. If they are significantly lighter and they'd be pretty small to be lighter than me, they wouldn't have the downhill speed, theoretically. Something's not adding up.
I have a Kickr that automatically adjusts and does not need a spindown.
What could be causing such a difference? I don't really care, I ride for myself but I am curious.

Would you chase an iconic mountain finish, enjoy a rolling countryside stage, or stick to a fast sprint stage with incredible scenery?
If you're still deciding, we put together an event preview here: https://rouvy.com/blog/tour-de-france-route-preview
Hi -- the Wahoo Kickr Bike Handlerbars' Steering buttons are not assignable to actions. They could/should be.
Cancelled iFIT and bought Wahoo Kickr and hoping to get started on Rouvy. I did almost all the challenging stuff on iFIT and felt l was not improving. IFIT felt more like an entertainment platform and was no longer challenging. Hopefully Rouvy will give me the chance to explore and get fit.
Any former iFIT users here?
In the last month my metrics that have been recorded on the same rides between my Garmin Edge 1040 and the Rouvy platform are vastly different. Prior to this they used to line up perfectly. Can anyone offer help or any suggestions? TIA
If you want 5 weeks of Rouvy for free, simply create a new account and enter the code: LUCA when signing up.
At the end of the 5 free weeks, you can change your plan, cancel, or do whatever you prefer.
It would be nice to have an error message in red background and black font that shows up when you start your ride if Rouvy detects a zero heart rate
Nearly two months on, it’s fair to ask the question that actually matters: are Zwift and Rouvy doing what they said they’d do?
I've been a Wahoo trainer customer for a long time and train with Rouvy since the beginning (when it was still called VirtualTraining). I don't have the luxury of a dedicated training room, so taking the wheel off before every session was never practical - that's why I started on a Kickr Snap and switched to a Kickr Rollr about three years ago. Overall I'm happy with the Rollr, and Rouvy has been great for keeping routes interesting.
There's one thing that bugs me, though, and I never experienced it with the Snap. In ERG-style structured workouts everything works fine. But when I'm riding a route in Rouvy, especially ones with short, punchy hills, the resistance often doesn't seem to copy the route's slope. It sometimes takes more than 2 minutes before the trainer actually ramps up, so on shorter climbs I'll get through the whole hill without ever feeling it get harder. By the time the resistance catches up, I'm already past the climb.
I still get a solid workout, but it often feels like the gradient on screen and what my legs feel don't match.
So my question for other Rollr owners riding Rouvy: do you see the same thing on routes with short hills, resistance lagging behind or not really following the slope? Or does this sound like a faulty unit on my end? And if it's likely hardware, what's the best way to go about getting it looked at?
Before anyone says anything I know the chances of winning the 10,000 euro bike in the current mileage challenge are next to nothing but I think it's fun to think about.
If you won the prize, what bike would you choose? I love all my current bikes so would be tempted between a 'pretty' bike to treat myself or something more functional.
HI , Does anyone know if it's possible to disable the "Workout finished?" popup in ROUVY workouts when using ERG mode?
Every time I stop pedaling for just a few seconds (to change position on the saddle, grab a bottle, adjust a fan, etc.), ROUVY asks whether I have finished the workout. Then, when I start pedaling again, it does the 3-2-1 countdown and resumes ERG mode.
It's quite annoying during longer workouts because sometimes you just want to stop pedaling for 5-10 seconds without interrupting the whole session.
Is there a setting to disable this behavior, or is this simply how ROUVY workouts currently work?
For comparison, both Zwift and MyWhoosh seem to allow short pauses or coasting during ERG workouts without triggering a workout end prompt or restart countdown, which makes the experience feel much smoother.
